Everything was excellent. The staff, the room, the breakfast. They covered every detail to make our stay unforgettable. I would really recommend to stay on this hotel and I would definitely would do it again. The locations is pretty good, It was centric but not too crowded so you can walk and there is life in the neighborhood. Its near all the attractions. Do it, book this hotel and you wont regret.

La Gemma has a fantastic location, literally 2min walk from many of the main sights. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful - making us feel cherished and right at home. The design of the hotel and rooms is gorgeous, while being practical; and I like the attention to detail. Will definitely be back!

Really friendly welcome from the amazing staff, who couldn't do enough for us. Very comfortable and modern room, exactly as in pictures. Lovely experience in the spa and a very good selection for breakfast. Staff kindly minded our luggage before and after check in so we could explore Florence. Tram and hop on/hop off tour bus directly adjacent to hotel.

    We stayed about 1.5km from the centre of Florence (Santa Maria del Fiore). This was an easy walking distance to many things, and easy to catch the tram. FYI the tram is easy to use, buy a ticket at the tram stop €1.70 and then ride it as much as you want for 90 minutes. Be sure to validate the ticket when getting on the tram. Food is fantastic, if you eat furter away from the city centre you wont be charged tourist prices. And say no to water at restaurants, it's over priced, stick to wine and beer.

    Lots of culture, including world class museums and wine tours. Brilliant trip across the Arno as well with a violinist playing. Plus Florence is a great starting point to teach other destinations in Italy. Plenty of places to eat as well

    Of all the places I have been in Europe Florence is the best. Loved the Cathedral and dome . Walking the streets and cafés was great. There is so much to do, and you never get bored. Loved the Leonardo de Vinci interactive museum and the mid evil bridge with all the stores. The only thing that was negative was the noise at night and sound of glass getting thrown out in the morning. Lone J

The rooms were incredibly neat, clean, and well-maintained, with modern design and attention to detail that exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere of the hostel is vibrant yet relaxing, making it suitable for all types of travelers—whether solo, with friends, or as a family.     Exquisite people, so many hidden treasures. Get up very early and see the real Firenze on foot - just walk. Seek out the farther reaches beyond the river via the Rome gate and walk up the hill then round to Michaelangelo Mount. By the time you make your decent to the river you will be in love!

    Florence is a beautiful city in the Tuscan landscape with beautiful culture, good food and delicious wine. The main attractions, such as the cathedral, the Uffizi Galleries, the Pitti Palace and the Galleria dell'Accademia show the culture of the Medici and the birth of the Italian Renaissance. It is advised to book in advance to avoid long queues. Besides these activities, the city is perfect for just wandering around and exploring the pretty streets with the palazzos, delicious restaurants and lots of shops for souvenirs, clothing, and the iconic Florence leather bags.

    It’s one of the best houses where I stayed in Italy! It’s in the very beautiful territory where you can feel the Tuscany nature despite the fact that you’re in a city. The house is very beautiful, spacious and clean. There are so many small details that make you feel that you’re home and not in the hotel! The owner is very friendly, helpful and nice person. The house is good connected with the center of city, and it’s not far. For us it was a pity that we booked it’s only for 1 night, we would stay there more!

    This was our best stay in Italy! So happy to have stayed here, it is a very chic and modern hotel with all the bits and pieces. Feels like a 5 star experience, well priced and so central. Staff are lovely, rooms are immaculate, ans bar is a real vibe. We would stay here without hesitation next time we are in Florence and we are pleased to hear they are opening more locations across Italy. This is the place you want to stay, it is in a prime location and you will enjoy the stay as it hits all the marks 10/10.
