Very nice room, bed was super comfortable. The location is great, near the the highway, so it's convenient when you want to rest during long journeys. It is also very close to Trieste. There is a supermarket near by, 2 min by car.

Room was big but a bit outdated in decoration. The owner told us that they will be redecorated. Had a big balcony. Hotel has a restaurant too. Breakfast was ok, not great but cheap

This is a really special & cosy place to stay, with super friendly owners making you feel at home :-) The rooms are nicely equipped with a "creative touch" (like everywhere in the house and garden) and everything is absolutely clean. The delicious breakfast was served in the garden and there could not be a better start into a new (vacation)day. We also liked the locoation of the B&B as there are only few minutes to the sea (with very good restaurants) and to the beginning of the Sentiero Rilke.

Its been my third year with my dog at Hotel Caneo. The stuff is always very nice, the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is more than enough and its a plus that my dog could join us in the restaurant area. Recommend it to anyone who travel with dogs or to thise who love nature and want to have a beautiful view and a quiet night only 20 minutes from the city.

    We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Duino. The location was perfect for us—just a short walk from the UWC college, with bus stops and great local restaurants right around the corner. The hosts were incredibly kind, always helpful, and greeted us with genuine warmth and a smile every day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tidied daily, which we really appreciated. While we didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, it looked absolutely delicious each morning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

    Frederica and Giorgio were marvellous hosts. Frederica met us with her motor scooter at the gate of Duino Castle to show us the way to Porto del Bivio. After we had arrived and settled in, she gave us a refreshing aperitif to enjoy in the shady garden. She suggested an excellent trattoria for our evening meal. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, air conditioned, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and Giorgio made us scrumptious scrambled eggs. Highly recommend Porto del Biblio.

    This is truly a 5-star experience out of 5. The room is spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Every detail—from the crisp, white towels and feather-soft, high-quality linens to the large shower (especially for Italy) with excellent water pressure and the comfortable beds—leaves no doubt about the quality of this hotel. In November, the heating ensured the room and bathroom were wonderfully warm and cozy. The private parking on the hotel premises is convenient and secure.

    The Residence Duino Mare was rather well located not far from the Castle and the bus station. Unfortunately when we had to leave they were on strike. Regarding the apartment, we did not really enjoy it, too small and with basic furniture. On top of that the second room was not really clean and the bed of poor quality, except for the master bedroom . We did not use the small kitchen at the entrance. We didn't meet the host, only by messages...!

    We had an overnight stay only in Duino, but we liked both the accomodation and the surrounding small town. The appartment is spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Starter kit - salt, sugar, tea bags, coffe pods, dishwasher tabs, soap, toiletries - were also at our disposal, which we highly appreciated. Grado is about 35 minutes by car, so the place is suitable for a few more days stay also. All in all, we liked it.
