We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and when we arrived at Volcano Huts after a 9 and a half hour hike from Skogar, we were welcomed with prosecco and then they shared cake with us from one of the staff members' birthday party. Friendly, helpful and welcoming! We loved the common areas and the tent was lovely. No complaints! I only wish the check-out was a little later (it is 10 am), so we could have enjoyed it a bit more in the morning. They have games, lent us playing cards, a decent breakfast, lovely bar and helped us charge our phones as we forgot plugs. The bus back to Skogar is a few feet from the reception. We'd love to return!

Wonderful hotel, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The receptionist, Octavian, was super helpful and kind. The room, although small, had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. The restaurant was very nice. Waking up and seeing the Skogafoss waterfall from our window was beautiful.

The cozy self check in Hotel Skoga is just 5 minutes walk from the spectacular Skogafoss Waterfall situated at the foot of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier.

Great atmosphere with amazing view. Beygla the hyperactive dog is extremely cute and playful. All equipped kitchen utensils. Very nice place. We really love it.
