This is a great size for an apartment and made a change from the usual Icelandic accommodation. The furnishings and decor have gone full circle from 'old' to 'funky retro' but everything is clean and working. Although this is away from the main village (due to the avalanche in the 1990s) there is a fantastic park just behind the apartment block. And it is only a short drive to Ísafjorður (Tjörhúsið is a must for every visitor to the West Fjords)

Probably the nicest guesthouse/hostel I have ever stayed in. Nice atmosphere, very clean and nice rooms. Nothing to complain at all!

I wont repeat how good this place is as many have done it! Almost a month I am back at home and still thinking Tangs place and the magic Isafjordur. Do yourself a favor and book with Tangs!
