The location was stunning, the view from our house was breathtaking, and the property and facilities were perfect. The hot tub was super warm, enjoyable, and added to the whole experience. Being able to sit under the stars and take it all in, simply amazing! The kitchen was HUGE and perfect to cook in. It was a perfect place to spend Christmas. We loved our stay here and will definitely come back in the future!

We loved everything! We walked there from a bus all cold, and it was the cosiest, most welcoming and magical place I've ever stayed! Beautiful homely decorations inside, lots of wood details, and vintage lamps and art. We could cook easily, and had a great walk up part of Esja. The nature is so beautiful! I saw the northern lights and the stars. Bathroom facilities were spacious and warm too. We all slept so well! Hosts were really friendly and welcoming.

Very nice hotel in a lonely place. Very good restaurant for dinining, good breakfast, perfect outdoor hot tub.

Breakfast was not included. The room was quiet, clean and warm. Don't be surprised. This hotel has a window on the ceiling that allows you to see the outside, and on the first day I arrived in Iceland, I witnessed the Aurora and took a video. I highly recommend it.

All of the little extras were lovely: Champagne and treats! The beds were very comfortable. The air flow was great with a ceiling fan, air conditioner and humidifier. We had a wonderful stay.
