Beautiful location, any weather. One of the most expensive places as regards to food. Examples: can of soda from grocery store $4 and up. Bowl of soup could be $20 min. Starbucks, 1 grande latte and one grande Americano about $15. Just so you plan well! Freebie: extensive street art! We spent most of the time outside of Reykjavik, visiting the beautiful sceneries of Iceland. Within Reykjavik I definitely recommend the Kolaportid flea market, and the Laugavegur street (don't be fooled by the map, not the whole length is shopping street, only the beginning). Reykjavik is an amazing town with many nationalities. I felt like I was in Europe and had escaped from my home in Austin, Texas. If not for the cost of living and having to use Iceland Air to get out would consider it a great place to Ex-pat to. The surrounding country is also amazing.Guest review byRobert
