The place was very clean, easy to access and located in a calm area close to all attractions of Gloden Circle. It was easy to move in and out. We didn't have a chance to meet the host, but everything was organized perfectly.

The property is I believe in an ideal location for the traveller who wants to do his own thing. Very well placed for drives out to geysirm, gullfoss and drives out to popular northern light hotspots Property is clean, very well priced in my opinion considering Iceland prices. Wifi was great. Bed comfy. The kitchen well equipped.

Our thip was shortened due to a canceled flight, so were not able to stay there the night we originally planned. However the staff was very helpfull and let us change the date of our stay in the very last minute. Very comfortable bed, nice and clean room. You dont need a key, there is a number lock on the front door.

    It's not close to town which makes it a good location for...

    It's not close to town which makes it a good location for stargazing or catching the northern lights if the weather cooperates. There aren't many cottages giving you a degree of privacy that feels exclusive. It's close enough to Selfoss to be convenient for dining and basic needs. We used it as a springboard to all of Southwestern Iceland as far as Vik. Great location! The property owners live on site and are amazingly responsive to any issue in addition to being courteous communicators.
