The rooftop pool was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Good size room for europe. Free shuttle to the airport in the morning was convenient for us. Staff were very friendly. Robes were provided to walk to the pool.

We were welcomed by very helpful staff that solved our issues with finding a taxi that transports us with a baby seat. Furthermore, we could have breakfast a bit earlier as we had an early flight. The room was huge and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom more spacious than the average hotel bathroom.

    Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

    Gardur village is amazing for relaxation and northern light seeing. Unfortunately we had no clear sky but still made a little walk around. We stayed in this village for second time, so we knew what to expect. In the hotel is also restaurant and very close walk is another one (we chose that one) There is also system of Aurora information if it is visible, they can knock on your door. Breakfast was very good bufet style with amount of choise.

    The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

    The hotel is located near the airport (10 minutes by car), it is almost on the ocean and next to the airport, which adds a nice atmosphere. Our son was delighted with the waffles, which you could make for breakfast (and so were his parents :D).
