We have stayed at number of places around the world.Lchang Nang by far is the best place for a comprehensive joyful and fulfilling holiday. Everything was perfect from our perspective yet it was the staff that made the stay memorable and precious in our minds. Everyone we interacted with had genuine smiles and went out of their way to ensure you had a great holiday. In face every person we came across at Lchang Nang were highly professional and as importantly genuinely beautiful fun loving people. We enjoyed Stargazing and momos making experience. This place is amazing! I travel a lot, but this is a little paradise. You wake up with a view of the garden and mountains. There is silence around, you eat a good breakfast and go for a walk around the beautiful village. Then you spend time on the terrace. Flowers, books and tea. The owners are super super friendly, caring, help with everything. I spent a week here and it was a time of peace and quiet. From Leh every day at 8am there is a bus to Diskit, you arrive at 2pm and at 2:30pm there is a bus from Diskit to Sumoor. Returning is just as easy. 8-8:30am from Sumoor to the fork in the road, there you wait for the bus that goes from Diskit to Leh. I mention this because it is worth spending a few days in this beautiful place where you feel simply wonderful!!!!

Tremendous views. Spacious, modern and comfortable villas with many traditional Ladakhi features. Delicious buffet breakfasts and dinners including local dishes (flatbread, butter tea, seabuckthorn juice), produce grown on site. Reliable hot water. Family-run very friendly and accomodating staff. We only stayed one night unfortunately however this would be a great base to explore the Nubra valley with a few day trips (the resort offers many excursions). It is a much more peaceful side of the valley compared with the Hunder-Diskit region. We really enjoyed our stay thankyou!

    The best thing to do in nubra valley to drive along the...

    The best thing to do in nubra valley to drive along the shyok basin on hunder and panamik side. Do the camel rides and the ATV.. and try the zip line. Stay in a good place. However, dikshit gompa, panamik hot springs and turtuk are a waste of time so don't go there or plan for these.
