Jaigarh palace hotel, being on a height, has its advantages as compared to other hotels in the area. It offers a beautiful view of the hills, other hotels, and the winding road on both sides. The hotel has 2 large terraces where you can sip tea or eat your meals while viewing the hills. The staff is very courteous and make you feel at home. The only drawback is that one has to climb steps since there is no elevator. Although we liked to climb the steps, this could be an issue for somebody with a hip-knee problem.

    Kumbhalgarh is the best place you can visit during February...

    Kumbhalgarh is the best place you can visit during February or March. Everything located amidst beautiful mountains. Fort is excellent but very steep, so may be senior citizens may not walk that much. But it's beautiful. We also enjoyed light and sound show at fort, which was mesmerizing. You should definitely not miss this. It revealed the history of the fort. We enjoyed our stay at Stone Wood Premier Resort, food and location were excellent. And definitely you cannot miss the village safari, the best part of Kumbhalgarh Trip. They show you a couple of temples, lake and fort. You can also enjoy a quiet and romantic stay in Kumbhalgarh.

    This place is amazing like you can never imagine what's going to be next in the coming way. weekends are very crowded so there is parking issue. The Wall of Kumbhalgarh on the other side of Village is clear and the view is superb.

    The room AC was not working and after 4 hours was able to...

    The room AC was not working and after 4 hours was able to push them get or working. Their response was not good stating that they were sold out and could not offer an alternate room. The required corrections were done after strong follow up and four long hours. House keeping policy of the property is tonclean room after 14.00 hours only - precisely the time you usually wish to rest after lunch. Housekeeping staff adamant that they would not clean the room later if you are resting is something unheard of and pretty high headed. Would surely advise caution to those planning to book this property. The internet does not work except for reception area which was very inconvenient.

    In Kelwara town there is 4 or 5 hotels. Just check the best for you. You will find it with no need to book in advance.The price on web is really overprice for its quality. Just arrive and try to find the one you like. Surroundings Khumbalgargh there is more than 20 hotels... No hot water. No wifi. No changing bed sheets. Young guy working very attent to your needs. Hotel receptionist not so kind.
