Spacious well designed rooms with beautiful hardwood trim and furnishings, and a delightful inner courtyard pool that is overlooked by your balcony, make this an oasis in the center of the hustle and bustle of Goa. But what truly makes this resort so special are the people who manage and run it. If you let them, they will become your family away from home. I travel a lot and its so nice to have a family now in Goa. I hope you have the opportunity to meet some of the great staff at The Astor, and I’d like to mention a few of them here. From Joseph who seems to be everywhere in service, to head chef and creator of all things delicious Divyanshi along with her chef Dave, as well as Suhas the restaurant manager, bartenders Nitesh and Survita, servers Zeenith, Sachin, as well as Pooja up front, all the way to the management, Anuj ,Shailendra, Mr Ganguly and the General Manager Mr Gupta, they are all wonderful people! You cannot go wrong with The Astor!

I had a wonderful stay at Resort! The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. We were a group of 21 people and we booked around 7 rooms. The location had great facilities and swimming pool was the best. The staff sheik wali was very helpful and gave an amazing hospitality. Radhika also helped us along with vali.

1. Nice and quiet place. 2. Good and clean rooms. 3. Food was tasty, service was kind and fast. The staff was willing to help and solve all the issues. Although, the hotel doesn't have private beach, it takes like 5 mins to get to the very good beach with clean sand and cheap cafeterias on it.

    If you are a vegetarian try the nearby Banana leaf...

    If you are a vegetarian try the nearby Banana leaf restaurant. The in house restaurant serves cocum beer and excellent food. We visited the Renuka temple in the village just behind the Ginger and the walk was refreshing. Newton's supermarket nearby is a great place to shop essentials. The taxi operators are very reasonable and offer their services smilingly. I think maligning campaign against them recently in the media was a conspiracy against Goa tourism.

    Candolim strikes a lovely balance—quiet enough for a relaxed beach experience yet vibrant with sports, culture, and nightlife. It suits couples, families, and solo travelers alike. Just pick your place to stay a bit south for tranquility, rent a scooter for ease, and you're all set.

    Candolim has a fair choice of 'big name' hotels to stay in.

    Candolim has a fair choice of 'big name' hotels to stay in. The main road has a choice of restaurants and pricing ranges from average to expensive. All conveniences can be found on the Candolim Main Road. Non availability of auto rickshaws (tuk tuks) is a disadvantage and one is dependent only on private taxis even for short distances,and they are expensive.

    Busy main street full of noisy traffic. Great beach with plenty of beach bars with their own free sunbeds. Food was always good. Not much entertainment on a night although there were many bars with singers singing to backing music. Superb sunsets each evening.

    What can you say about Goa - you love it or you hate it - we love it. The people the places so varied and vibrant - huge choice of places to eat and drink all at really good prices for top quality food. Our top three places to eat Mermaid Restaurant, Tuscany Gardens and Alexandra Restaurant - all brilliant with good food and service.

    🌟 Excellent Service & Honest Guidance! 🌟 We had such a lovely experience with Deb & Maira. Their response was quick, very helpful, and they went out of their way to guide us. I would strongly recommend taking their advice when traveling with Inn Goa, especially for activities outside of the hotel. In Goa, there are unfortunately lots of frauds and scams with watersports and cruises — but Deb and Maira are truly professional, trustworthy, and caring. Thanks to them, we felt safe and well looked after. Highly recommended!

    One of the best locations in north goa. Excellent helpful hotel staff, good house keeping staff ( especially Namdeo and ranjan) and vinod at reception desk. Nice breakfast with good varieties everyday to start the day. Overall this hotel property is good for comfortable stay in north goa near candolim beach which is very clean and less crowded beach ( around 80 meters walk from the property).

    Amazing place, with great hosts (Hardip and Sofia) and excellent rooms. Both of the hosts love to have a chat and give awesome tips (places to visit, restaurants etc.) what makes this place so special.
