I had a wonderful stay at Hydel Palace, especially enjoying the swimming pool. The experience was great overall. While the food was a bit overpriced, it was delicious, and the restaurant was well-maintained. The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Good location near the river and not too far from main road and bus. We took room without A/C and the room was better than we expected: it was big enough with big washroom and connection to the balcony and has 2 exit to the floor. Owner and stuff were very helpful even with our such a complicated request in the dry day :) We are very satisfied with our staying and reccoment this hotel.

    The area is beautiful, don't get me wrong.

    The area is beautiful, don't get me wrong. It is very very distant however, with complete lack of services. Don't expect pharmacies, selection of restaurants or even a large variety of activities. We visited dead in the middle of winter, but the heat and humidity make it virtually impossible for any sort of hiking or other extended physical activities. There's enough to do and see for one night, don't stay longer.

    Only visit during the monsoons as the lack of water in the falls,the hot climate lack of proper dining facilities and poor road conditions does not make it a very attractive destination..best for a day trip at the most..
