We had a great stay, the view is incredible and the tiny house is perfect for two. It was a change from the hostels we usually stay in ! It was pouring rain when we got there and the host kindly gave us a lift to the accomodation. Just perfect overall !!

A great view of the ocean inlet from the kitchen was there and the location is good for journeys in the nearby landscape. The wifi was fantastic and located in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and we loved having breakfast there. Another plus was the new washing machine. The bed was also very comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

People from all over take the 5 minute ferryboat ride to the island for their delicious homemade pizza . Hiking ,views ,birds and flowers . Everything to love .

    We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself.

    We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself. We selected it as a central point to stay as we explored Mizen Head and other areas in the region. In the evening we went to The Corner Bar to listen to trad music. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful time.

    We actually spent the brief time we had in BALTIMORE and 1 day definitely isnt enough. The Pirate museum and view point, hanging about in the bay would have been made so much better had we been out on a boat seeing the dolphins and minky whales we heard about

    Really nice town with a lot of history attached to it. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly. The heritage museum and the lady who does the talk on the impact of the Great Famine were very powerful.

    Highly recommend Wild Ways for breakfast and pizza, the Church Restaurant for dinner in a beautiful surrounding, and O'Neill Coffee for a beautiful flat white. Great Murphy's in the Corner Bar too! Skibbereen can easily be enjoyed on foot, it's a fairly small town.

    The town was very nice with a great car park over by ALDI.

    The town was very nice with a great car park over by ALDI. Lovely just to walk around and browse the shop windows and potter about. For groceries also check out the Fields SuperValu store, a fantastic selection of foods and really nice staff. While there you must also visit to Lough Hyne, a most wonderful surprise. We had no idea of its beauty.

    Dessie provided a very warm welcome when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. Heidi was so good to bring us a few logs for the stove on the first night - typical Irish weather! The living area was so cosy espeically with the stove, and the bed was extremely comfortable! Kitchen was very well kitted out. The gardens are incredible, the area is huge! It was a lovely tranquil base for exploring West Cork

    A cosy, beautiful little B&B which is super close to the Skibbereen town centre and a great base for other locations in West Cork. The owner Ann is incredibly kind and friendly, and her and husband make a delicious breakfast. I felt like I was staying with relatives!
