Portnoo is a great place to visit, it has a brilliant beach...
Portnoo is a great place to visit, it has a brilliant beach with low tide around 11.30 am allowing you to walk accross the beach to a small island which you can explore. Although as the tide starts to come in around 14.00 pm you need to find your way back to the mainland quite sharpish. The surrounding mountains coupled with the harbour and the large beach enables this area to be termed very scenic. Portnoo is just a 15min drive one way to Ardara and and the other direction 15min to Glenties, both are small towns with lots to offer.Guest review byalexanderUnited Kingdom
