Wonderful location at the cross roads of so many must visit places. The town itself is vibrant and charming and very well serviced with pubs and restaurants. The town was larger with more facilities than we expected...
The town was larger with more facilities than we expected and we would be happy to return. The location gave us easy access to the Ring of Kerry road trip and we saw all the sights worth seeing. The french patisserie in the town was great but has slow service as it is very popular. Watch out for the narrow roads where lots of tourist buses, and locals actually, don't always keep to their side of the road and it can be dangerous.Guest review byPETERUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Town is pedestrian friendly and all restaurants and businesses lie in a small triangle of roads. Free parking was readily available at edge of village. Has its own circle if stones in the heart of town - easy walk. Great pubs like P L McCarthy and Davitts Restaurant - both offered gluten free offerings. Situated in the town centre it is close to the shops, restaurants and bars and it is a good base for touring the local area. Our room was spacious and warm and our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with the American Style Pancakes and Eggs Benedict the best we ever had. The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, plenty of room for everyone and every amenity necessary for a wonderful stay. The location was nice, close enough to walk into the center of town yet far enough removed from the traffic in a very quiet location.
