The house has a very friendly and kind landlord and a lovely dog. He received us kindly and gave us details of the facilities we might use. This house is very special, it feels like living in the jungle. I hope we can have a chance to meet again.

Breakfast was wonderful, very attentive staff .My husband and I enjoyed our stay so very much. Now I'm very excited about my daughter's wedding in March. An absolutely wonderful venue. The grounds around the castle are spectacular, there's nothing I can fault.

    Ballintogher is a tiny place.

    Ballintogher is a tiny place. There can't be more than a few hundred residents. But it does contain two pubs and a shop. The kingsfort coach house, one suspects, is the oldest dwelling in the village and very possibly the reason for Ballintogher's existence.

    Excellent stay with our dog.

    Excellent stay with our dog. Everything you needed was in the room. It was of a very high standard and immaculately clean. John and his family were very friendly and helpful and made our stay exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.
