We had an awesome one-night stay at the farmhouse and really wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location was great, and the hosts were super friendly. Lorna even gave us a tour of the farm, which we weren’t expecting but ended up being one of the best parts of our trip! My daughter loved seeing all the animals, especially the cows. We also got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Big thanks to the hosts for their amazing hospitality!

We stayed one night at The Little Pink House and it was absolutely wonderful far beyond our expectations. The house itself is lovely, cozy, and spotless, but what really made our stay unforgettable was the host. She welcomed us so warmly and made us feel completely at home. She generously offered us food and drinks the evening we arrived, gave us great recommendations on what to see in the area, and even prepared coffee and tea for us to take on our journey the next morning. Such kindness and attention to detail are rare and truly appreciated. If you're visiting the area, don’t miss the chance to stay here , it’s a gem in every way!

The communication with Barbara was excellent from the start, the little touches of milk and fresh bread on arrival as I was late to check in. Keys left in a lock box ideal for late comers. The Farm House is clean, warm and comfortable with a fully loaded kitchen leaving you wanting for nothing. Fresh towels on the bed. Jally Farm leaves you wanting for nothing. I can't comment on the area as we were over for work, Callan is located a few miles up the road where you can find supermarkets, pubs takeaways etc. Thanks Barbara

Such a peaceful location, we had a lovely stay and slept like babies. Bathroom is astonishing, the overall authentic design of the place made it feel like we were lords on vacation! Would highly recommend and will be back again no doubt!

I booked Hemma Grove last minute and just for one night but it has left such a lasting impression. The farmhouse has been restored with extraordinary care and attention—every detail feels intentional, from the decor to the beautifully preserved character of the original building. Dee kindly accommodated our very late check-in on Friday night, which we were so grateful for. We had to leave early the next morning, but in that short time we were struck by how comfortable and calming the space is. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the large walk-in shower added a real sense of luxury. What stood out most was how the home honours those who lived there before—through carefully restored doors, artefacts, and design choices that feel respectful and considered. We were genuinely struck by the work that Dee and Billy have poured into this place. Everything has been thought of, and it shows. This is a place of great serenity, surrounded by trees and wildlife located beside Dee and Billy’s home. A very special place—one that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Fabulous house, bigger than it looks in the pictures and ideal location for hiking Slievenamon. Gorgeous welcome package with a very well stocked breakfast which was a lovely surprise. Great communication from the host, would recommend highly!
