Family owned lodge built in 2024, they were super friendly, the father took us for two guided tours in tangkoko park. One in the evening for tarsier and tarantula, and one in the morning for birds. He was really gentle compared to other guides that used the flashlight directly on the tarsier and scared it. The food was amazing, one of the best meals we had during 8 weeks in Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines

The family homestay was the sweetest and best stay to be in the area. June was always here for us and helped to organize everything. We got friends very quickly and enjoyed to be with the family ❤️. Lovely family run home stay very close to the entrance of the national park. Cute little room with AC (which you absolutely need in this area), fantastic breakfast, and we also took part in 2 tours (morning and evening) run by the host. Aria knows a lot about the park and treats the animals with respect (not chasing wild animals) can highly recommend staying at the gallery guest house

We had a very nice stay at Macaca Resort. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Our guide was very helpful and easily organised by the resort. We didn’t want to leave!

Big and clean room. Quiet. Food is good and affordable. We booked morning and afternoon tours with the homestay and our guide was great. Kind owner there. Water and coffee/tea available are a plus. As a room was available we could check in early in the morning which is nice to sleep after a night between airplanes and waiting room

It was such a nice stay in this homestay. The host Franky welcomes you like a friend and part of the family. We even visited a local wedding and I played some violin for them :D Also the Jungle Tours are quite interesting, and he can show you so many animals. The rooms are close to the jungle and are well equipped. Just go there, you won't regret it. Franky, I miss you and your family!

The staff were very cosy and professional. National park tour guide from the hotel was excellent.

Julian is very friendly host, moreover excellent bird guide and kingfisher king and I enjoyed all our walks for animals in the park. His wife Treisha is a lovely person and outstanding cook smiling all the time. We recommend. See you next time, our friends!
