The room and the hotel were very clean. The room was small but well-equipped (with a wardrobe, table, chair, kettle, double bed, and four pillows). The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast included tea and a small snack every morning.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Rohan Jogja for 4 nights last month, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect if you are attending an event at the Jogja Expo Center. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I was able to get the rest I needed at the end of the day. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed with fresh towels and toiletries. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had during my stay. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and personalized service. They made our participation in the ASEAN Tourism Forum as enjoyable as possible. I felt like a valued guest, and it made all the difference. Even the GM and the senior management staff gave full attention, especially during our hosted lunch event. Overall, I highly recommend Grand Rohan Jogja to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Yogyakarta. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I cannot wait to return in the future.

It could not be better. Breakfast was the best indonesia has to offer. I ate so many good food without the risk of getting sick. Hotel was new, rooms and everything was perfect. Also it is just next to a huge mall, you can find anything you need. I wish i could stay in this hotel in every city i visited.

    Ranugunting is a good example of mixed semirural Javanese...

    Ranugunting is a good example of mixed semirural Javanese neighbourhood. The traffic on the main road (jalan raya) to Solo is fast and crazy but off that it is quiet. A (shrinking) percentage of blocks are paddy fields or vegetable plots. People are friendly and its not at all touristy. You can just hang out, and snack from regularly passing food sellers and kaki lima (mobile food carts). On the other hand it is very close to the famous and extraordinary Prambaban temples, so visitors are fully catered for there.
