Nusa Dua has many faces and brilliant options! It is not just for rich folks. Geger beach is excellent… also for local food. Basically just a resort neighborhood for people to spend their miles and points at all the usual hotel chains. The neighborhood is almost all resort pricing unless you go and mingle in the slum-like conditions that the local construction workers are living in. Almost all of the activities and attractions outside of the resorts are very suspicious, often feeling like tourist trap scams. I would only stay here again if someone were inviting me to some convention hosted here and they were putting me up in the resort hotel.Guest review byKoJapan - 8.0

The weather was good...28 degrees every day . Lots of 5 star resorts on the beach and the usual Warungs , laundries , massage shops and convenience stores across the road. The Bali Collective is worth a look. Could be a little windy at times but sometimes that was welcome too. Nice outlook towards Nusa Penida on the horizon. Nusa Dua feels like one big resort village, made up of several beautiful hotels side by side. Unlike Kuta or Ubud, it’s not crowded or chaotic, and the atmosphere is calm and organized—you can comfortably walk around. The Bali Collection serves as the main center, like an open-air shopping mall, with cafés, restaurants, and souvenir shops. There’s a lovely walking and cycling path along the beach, perfect for a relaxed holiday pace. Although the sea looks beautiful, the tides are very strong, making it difficult to swim. Also, you need to be cautious of jellyfish and sea urchins. Some construction work is still ongoing in certain areas, which can be a minor disturbance. Nusa Dua is ideal for resting, sunbathing, and enjoying peaceful mornings and evenings. While we personally preferred Ubud for its more local feel—despite not having a beach—Nusa Dua deserves a solid 9/10 and could definitely be a great choice for a relaxing getaway.Guest review byBurakTurkey - 10.0
We have been to Nusa Dua a few times before as a couple.
We have been to Nusa Dua a few times before as a couple. This was the first time with our children. Very safe to walk around with kids even at night. No trouble at all. Lots of access to transport and safe to take the kids around the island. Plenty of shops for shopping and dining options whether you want to eat where the locals eat or at fancy restaurants. Bali collection has reasonable priced dining options too. We love nusa dua and will definitely be coming back.Guest review byJulietAustralia
