Eka and the staff made our stay at Eka's bungalows a highlight of our time spent in Indonesia. A quiet, relaxed lakeside location a few minutes from the friendly 'town' centre with a restaurant, scooter and bike rental available. The owner is super kind, she adapted the menu to my dietary requirements and made me the most amazing tortilla in Sumatra, she also took me to town on her motorbike to start the bike loop around the lake. Everything was so easy and smooth, they have all the info you need to know to enjoy your time at the lake. She also arranged my transfer to Padang. The massage they offer is also worth trying it. Last but not least, the views from the cottage are incredible!

The bed mattresses are like fluffy marshmallows. The place is secluded but if you need to get anything to eat, the hotel cafe is there for you. The staff are superb, friendly and professional. The place is quiet at night and very relaxing. There are hardly any bugs. I sleep better here than at home!
