Polite & helpful staff. Excellent location near to the beach (pantai sejuk), eateries & shops, however still need some kind of transport to get to the eateries & shop if you are with elderly or children. If you are young adults, I think able to walk there. Clean compund and rooms. Parking for about 5 cars available in the compound. Big rooms, good wifi, tv & air con in excellent working condition. Quiet & peaceful place. Beautiful sea view.

It's a unique experience for those who want to know more about the Sasak life and enjoy the beauty of the place. It was our best experience in Lombok. We were received by the family with so much love and kindness. They really opened up showing us everything the place has to give without any extra charges. The property was very cute with a lovely garden and bungalows. The host was friendly and very accomodating. The breakfast was delicious with an incredible view and down the road a great coffee shop. It was in a great location with parking. Couldn’t recommend this homestay enough!

Staying at Kurni's Cabin was a memorable experience. We stayed there for 5 nights and Didik did his very best for us to enjoy our time during our stay. The location of his single cabin was perfect with a view of Rinjani mountain's peak on the back and veggies/rice fields on the front gave us the authentic village experience we were looking for. The cabin is spacious the best part is it's made up of bamboo and wood but Didik decorated the space and garden with simplicity and creativity which were mind-blowing. Hope he doesn't overcrowd the space in the future. We also liked the small outside kitchen which gave us to prepare our own tea & coffee and light meals. The neighbors were super friendly and always maintained the noise at all times. Being vegetarian, Didik's mom gave us the best delicious Lombok food and every night was a surprise full of flavors. Our host Didik is a very friendly, cheerful young man and catered to all our needs. He took us to show his village around, Kopi Sapit (a hangout place) and shared a lot of information about Lombok culture. Unfortunately, we couldn't make the trekking trip, but I am sure he would be a nice trekking host. Overall we had an authentic village experience.
