We had a fantastic stay at this property. The room was exceptionally nice and comfortable! The entire property, including the dining area and pool, was beautifully maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Omg what a place! The cosiest bungalow right by the beach, like literally by the beach, so lovely and homely. On one side you have the sea view, on the other the palm grove. Check out the colours of the sea and the sky during golden hour. Great value for money and Toni takes such good care of you. Slept with the consistent swell of the waves in the background.

The homestay is located in a special area with a food garden and run by a lovely family. We so much appreciate staying there as it gave us a feeling of grounding in our travel through contact with natural beauty of the surroundings and heartwarming exchange with Robby and Tiu. I would love to visit again in the future this special place. The food was delicious and we got to know the ingredients of local Sumbawa cusine. We also bought the wild bees honey that they sell. Robbie went with us for a forest walk early in the morning and explained a lot about the area, plants, animals. He knows a lot and has a good heart :)

Fantastic location right on the beach. The bed was so comfortable and the owner was very helpful. Lots of water provided during the stay. Nice Warung just along the road and local village about 2km away. We were only people staying so it was very serene.

What can I say, this is everything I wished for and much more. If you're looking for a getaway from the crowds of Bali and Lombok, this is just a ferry and short ride from east Lombock. Here you find the most beautiful empty beaches, and community that let's you experience the local way of living and so much more. Coconut, sea weed and fruit plantations contributing to the most amazing locally grown dishes and sollo- sollo Homestay just in the middle of it all. Close to grocery stores, warungs and most importantly the beaches. Just a 30min ride away is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in indonesia. The best of it all is the homestay and the wonderful family who hosts it, who will go over and out to improve your stay. The owner is very knowledgeable and can answer all questions that you may have. The quiet surroundins allow you to enjoy your time as much as possible. My room was a small 2 floor house, with a hammock, table, chairs and a comfortable mattress. Free coffe and water is available. Overall is this everything you've been looking for in indonesia without the crowds, beautiful beaches, open and kind locals and most importantly an unforgettable time.

Whales & Waves is truly a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Sumbawa. We loved everything- the huge yard, the outdoor community space where we met a lot of cool people, had our meals, played with their two labradors etc. The place is really kid friendly- a lot a children were playing around, skateboarding and having fun. The rooms were also good. We rented kayaks and went snorkeling to the nearby island. The food was great, we recommend trying the Mie Goreng with beef! The local surf spot is 5 minutes away by motorbike which could also be rented at the resort. We were there for just 5 days but next time we’re staying more. :)

Lovely Homestay in the kertasari village, very close to beautiful beaches with great surfing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, the rooms are comfortable with a private bathroom, AC, and close to local warungs. It’s great value for money, I will definitely stay here when I come back, thank you:)
