Nice location in Tangkahan. They helped us to organise some nice activities like short jungle hikes and river tubing as well as airport transfer. The food in their restaurant was good.

Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Andri and his family made me feel very welcome, arriving late at night. A perfect spot to prepare for, and then recover from a multi day jungle trek. The breakfast veranda has an amazing view of the often raging river.

This place with its people is magical. I stayed there for a week and at the end I felt like I was leaving my new family behind. As a solo traveller, I never felt lonely during my stay there and I will never forget the interesting conversations, the jam sessions in the evenings, the excursions and above all the humour und kindness of the whole staff. Lovely stay , comfortable and very clean.the view from the balcony was amazing and the staff also very friendly and helpful. We did a day trekking and tubing, I had lots of fun to see the orang utan up so close, can't get better than that.even though I felt over so many times to get to it 🙈 , it's so worth it.And also thumbs 👍 for our guide bang jerry and his partner (so sorry I can't remember his name ) they both are amazing, knowledgeable and friendly, also very patient with me as I am taking so many breaks during our trip to see the orang utan. I definitely recommend staying at the hotel orangutan and Hopefully I will be back to Indonesia again soon. Keep up the good work and thank you.
