Incredible place. Everything was great!

For us Mansuar Raja Ampat Bungalows was the first homestay in Raja Ampat, where we spent 8 days. One of our neighbours, who had already stayed at other homestays, said, that this is eally a 5-star homestay. Now we can confirm these words- Mansuar Raja Ampat bungalo is really a 5-star homestay for Raja Ampat. The location is nice, Kri is easily accessible ( 5 min by boat). There are only four bungalows and no other homestays nearby. So, the place is really quiet and perfect to relax in nature. New comfortable bungalows with beds and enough shelves , clean toilets and separate showers ( real showers, not a buckets type). There is a water tap near each bungalow, which is very convenient for rinsing snorkeling equipment/underwater cameras. Food was varied , many vegetables. Coffee, tea, hot and cold water available 24 h. Very friendly and helpful staff. We definitely recommend this place !

This place is paradise on earth, what's not to love! Food is amazing, staff are lovely and the snorkeling is the best in the world.

Property We had stayed 7 nights. The guest house was very comfortable with beautiful landscaped walking paths. Andy, the man behind the design and build of the property, sets high standards for the building of the property and his team, with the result that this is a rare gem of a place. The showers have good water pressure and there are flush toilets! Each room also has its own dedicated toilet and shower so there’s no need to share with the other guests, which can be helpful when we need to rush for early morning excursions. Electricity is avail all day long due to the use of solar power and there were hardly any flies or mosquitoes which was great as it meant we could lounge around without the use of mosquito nets (though those were provided). We saw mantas 3 times on excursions to Manta Ridge and the highlight was a full day trip to the Fam Islands (eg Piaynemo, Melissa’s Garden and and Rufas Island) where the sights were breathtaking. The house reef was also great with schools of fish, turtles, sea snakes, moral eels…We swam to the neighboring jetty where we saw a number of black-tipped sharks and saw cuttlefishes at another neighbouring jetty so lots to explore around the area. Also wanted to make special mention of Meg, the resident dog who very responsibly accompanied us whenever we go for longer walks to other parts of the island and she also warns off potential intruders! Food Every meal was delicious (especially lunch and dinner) with lots of veggies and fruits. Hot water with tea and coffee is always available and cold beer can be purchased! Crew Esni is the life of the party and very experienced in reading the currents and finding mantas! She makes sure everyone is well-taken care of during excursions. Jody who helps with the excursions was also amazing, accompanying us on the short hikes to see the sights and taking the initiative to help us climb over the tougher spots.

Everything!!! Nelly made spaghetti bolognese and a cake especially for our son's 13th birthday, it was awesome!! Thank you so much -it made his day!

Location. The view from the bungalow's terrace is breathtaking. You are at the end of the world with an excellent internet signal. I have been to over 100 countries sleeping in a tent and in the Ritz Carlton, these were the most pleasant 4 days of my traveling

To be honest I felt a bit lost when I got to Raja Ampat. I was solo travelling and didint have much of a plan on what to do/see. Getting to Gibran made my stay in Raja Ampat memorable. The location is great and the rooms are very nice, nothing to fancy but very aligned with what you should expect of a place like Raja Ampat. Mimi and Julia where incredible hosts. They are one of the few planing trips to nearby locations which is great if you dont scuba dive or need a break. Other then that they would help you with anything you need. To me they felt like family, muchas gracias de corazon!

We had full board and the food was super tasty and plentiful. The family was super nice and tried to help us with everyone. The Homestay is best located on the beach with a nice house reef.

This homestay is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy nature. All the staff are amazing but a special shout out to Erwin and William who went out of their way to make our stay extra special, especially for our daughter. The rooms are basic but have comfy beds and pillows and good mosquito nets. The rooms were very clean and so was the bathroom. The food was always plentiful and varied. Would love to stay here again.
