The best thing about Velence lake and its surroundings is...
The best thing about Velence lake and its surroundings is that there is minimum of foreign tourists, because they all drive to Balaton, Budapest etc. The majority of holidaymakers are locals. Its also a good destination for cyclists who can bike around the lake and visit villages nearby. The lake itself is very shallow (good for nonswimmers) with healing stinky mud on the lake bottom (suitable for skin problems).Guest review byAlešCzech Republic
