Big, lightful room. Much space, very comfortable bed, very clean bathroom, fridge and minibar, breakfast possible and also only getting a cup of coffee/ beer etc for 1-2€. Good WiFi, parking place available, didn't hear any neighbours (not many people there, though), great garden (very interesting statues of women all around, also inside the house - really great, very inspiring). Playground, grill area, wintergarden available. Cool hiking tracks nearby (200m and in the forest), very friendly landlady, all very easy and perfect for business stay and hiking vacation, alike! I woke up to the sound of chicken. Really great! Price absolutely good - can only recommend!

My first stay was in 2017 my father and brother live in Mayarlak which is a 5 minute drive the hotel has everything you can ask for the staff are friendly very welcoming. I then returned in 2019 and then again in 2022 and now July 2024. I would highly recommend Gotthard hotel I would like to thank Fábián Fanni who has arranged my taxis to see my father you all have gone above and beyond to make my stay an absolute joy. This was an amazing stay. There is lovely hotel staff and the rooms are nice and clean. Big plus for the amazing air conditioning that was in the room, it worked wonders in the hot summer heat. Great value for money.

The room was very nice with a pretty view from the balcony, everything clean, large well equipped kitchen. Nice village near a forest. Overall highly recommended, would definitely return here once again.

    The owner is a passionate host. He welcomes his visitors with a shot of traditional Hungarian Schnaps, he is talkative and makes jokes continously. The place is 10 minutes walking from Szentgotthard's main square in a quiet neighborhood, a separate room for our a bikes (a barn) was provided. Shower pressure is excellent, WIFI fast and reliable und breakfast is sumptous. Host speaks German, don't know about his English skills as most guests are obviously from Hungary or Austria. Finally we were very happy about our stay.

    The hotel is nice, surrounded by nature, which means cooler temperatures and quiet. The lady at the reception is very helpful. Breakfast is really good. My room was very big.
