We felt like home at Berko Vendeghaz. Anett and Lajos welcomed us super friendly and offered us pear palinka. You will find more than you need in this beautiful accommodation. You have water distributor, drinks and coffee. You can play table tennis, basketball, baby foot, even darts. There are also bicycles. The location is very quiet. We highly recommend this location. Termal is within the hotel, breakfast and dinner was fine. There was always a gluten free option, bread and desert was not gluten free unfortunately.

Although a long walk (30 mins) from the rail station and rather hidden down a quiet street, once inside this superb hotel it revealed its elegant modern comforts. Reception was very welcoming and a mine of helpful information. The hotel is in immaculate condition and well cared for. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. The quiet ambience of the area was very close to the riverside promenade and shopping centre. Breakfast was a very enjoyable experience, and I was loathe to leave this wonderful hotel. Szolnok too is an understated location and I look forward to being able to return to stay longer.

The location was brilliant the staff was polite and accommodating even with a language barrier there are few locals around there such as a pizzeria and most importantly was quiet, perfect place to rest after a long day of travel.
