This is not just a house — it’s pure luxury wrapped in preserved history. Every corner reflects deep respect for the past, combined with thoughtful modern comfort. The interiors are historic yet tastefully updated, offering warmth, coziness, and convenience. You feel as if you’ve stepped into another world, where time slows down and the soul finds peace. The garden is simply a dream — lush, perfectly maintained, with sun loungers under a grand fir tree, ideal for relaxing with a glass of chilled white wine. And in the afternoon, once the tourists leave, the true magic begins: tranquility, serenity, and a feeling of complete seclusion. Special thanks to the hosts — Bucsek András and Bogi. They are truly wonderful, kind-hearted, and caring people who have thought through every single detail. Their love and dedication to this home are felt in every aspect. We strongly recommend ordering breakfast from them! In the morning, András brought us a huge thermal container filled with all kinds of delicious treats: fresh breads, cold cuts, spreads, vegetables, juice, milk, pastries… It was a feast for the eyes and the soul! Hollókő is a fairytale. And this home is its most beautiful chapter.

The location of this property is convenient for visiting the beuatiful village of Hollókő. There were parking spots accross the road from the property. There was no sign for payment of parking or meters, so did not pay any parking. We could walk to the old part of the town from here. The side of the home has beautiful views over the countryside and you can enjoy a pretty sunrise from your bed. The house is much bigger than it appears from the photos and the room with kitchen that we had was facing the street and the pretty little garden, bed was comfortable, room is a bit cramped as there is a double bed, bunk beds and a little sauna in it. The room and kitchen are well equipped, dishwasher tabs were provided. The hostess does not speak English, but we managed to communicate without problem. The Hostess is kind, generous and friendly.

    The village was charming with cute shops and good...

    The village was charming with cute shops and good restaurants. The castle nearby was very nice as well and had a more medieval feeling compared to other Hungarian castles. There are hiking trails including a "Hand of God" statue on a hiking trail.
