Location was amazing right on the Harbour front. Rooms were clean, modern and well equipped. Steam shower - wow! What an in room luxury! Breakfast was excellent and lattes made with love! Staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We will definitely return!!

Beautiful, immaculately clean hotel. The staff were extremely kind, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel special during our stay. Amazing swimming pool, perfect location, easy parking onsite and the most comfy luxurious beds. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Greece!

Amazing hotel with unforgettable service! This hotel is absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They helped my boyfriend organize a surprise for my birthday and made the day truly unforgettable — it was a 10 out of 10! The room had magical views that took our breath away every morning. Breakfast was delicious, with everything handmade and full of flavor. We felt so cared for and appreciated during our entire stay. We would come back 100% — highly recommended!

What a fabulous 4 night stay, we wished that we had longer. The photos on the web do not do it justice, it is so much more. The place is exceptionally clean and tidy, the owner and all the staff, that includes Bruno the Labrador are so welcoming and friendly, any help or advice just ask. They will chat or leave you your space, it is so comfortable. The info we all need - the Tower is at the top of a hill with a winding road up to it (easy to drive), initially you might think you have made a wrong turn but you haven’t. When you arrive the Towers are stunning as are the views and you will notice the peace and quiet. There is a lovely pool with pool loungers on one side, there is a bar where they serve hot/cold/alcoholic drinks and also you choose buffet breakfast from here. There are lovely seats and tables looking over the pool area or the hills and out to sea where you can just relax or eat, drink to your hearts content. They have a great menu with small plates and larger meals, they always had something special in the kitchen too. The food was wonderful and plenty, I didn’t catch the chefs name but the food is very good. Our room was a double which had a good sized wardrobe, chest of drawers, a tv, desk with enclosed fridge which worked very well, plenty of plug sockets, excellent shower with a choice of jets, hand held or over head, the water pressure was brilliant always. A/c which was also excellent and didn’t need to be on for long at all as the style of the rooms kept a good temperature even though it was August. The windows as you will see in my photo are glazed with internal shutters also, so basically black outs for a great sleep if that’s what you want. The bed, very comfortable mattress and there were 4 pillows, 2 that were like the memory foam cooling gel one that shape for your neck and 2 that were firm and plump but yet soft. I know that if we visit that area again without any doubt we will stay here.

    Gythio is a small town, it has light house and mini chapel as attractions. It does not have very nice or plenty of beaches, I would say if you have seen other villages and towns of greece so skip this one.

    Loved the Venetian style town which had nice cafes and restaurants along waterfront. Only thing we didn’t like was when we dined out at the restaurants at 7.45pm there was never any traditional Greek food left only grill food or pasta, this was frustrating as we always found in Greece people go out much later than this so didn’t know why they ran out so early.

    Such beautiful beaches, yummy restaurants and bars. This seaside town was the highlight of my stay in Greece. I spoke Greek but my fellow travellers who did not were able to easily communicate. While buses and taxis can take you to sights, having a car is essential if you want to get around.

    A characterful little port town, with buildings lining the harbour road on one side and houses built in terraces above. A wealth of restaurants serving local produce, especially fresh fish - can recommend 90 Moires - and other high quality food outlets. Two traditional bakeries, can particularly recommend Emmanuelides for its range of cakes and pastries, and the facility to eat these at little tables outside, accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee. Te Salto on the opposite side of Mavromichali Square does a great breakfast. Several places for ice cream, can recommend 'Thino' for range of amazing flavours and tempting desserts. The usual range of shops selling beachwear, postcards, souvenirs etc but highly recommend the one next to Hotel Aktaion where you can also buy books and local maps, and see some of the traditional Greek shadow puppets made by the owner, who has also published several guidebooks to the Mani region.

    Gythio is a very pleasant little town with a range of eating places and shops, set on a bay with a small port The Castello Antico is set 5km round the coastline - which means there are no hassles for car parking, Access to the Mani Peninsula and other interesting places in Southern Peleponnese by car is easy - but public transport limited. About 3.5 hours drive to Athens airport.

    Margo Beach is a modern hotel with spacy and comfortable suites, well thought and well equipped. The personnel is very professional and friendly. The hotel has a restaurant, but if you want you can use the kitchenette facilities in your suite. A supermarket is just 10 min by foot (or 2 min by car).

    Georgia was a fantastic host, nothing too much trouble and very informative. Recommended a really good traditional taverna in town that was great value for money. About 15 minutes to walk down to Gythio. Amazing sea views from the room and had a fully equipped small kitchenette.
