We spent 8 nights at Itamos House in Vourvourou. The facility itself is in a good location and provides everything you need for a good stay. We felt at home during our entire stay - the hosts Stela and Sakis are extremely pleasant and kind people, from the first day to the last we felt as if we had come to a friend's house. The beach is nearby, approx. 100 - 150 meters from the accommodation. Although we were here at the end of June, the sea was surprisingly warm because Vourvourou is in a bay, so not much cold seawater enters. The famous Karydi beach is 900 meters from the accommodation, so it can be reached in 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot. There are also many other beautiful beaches nearby (Fava beach is also close by), so if you like to visit different beaches, there is plenty to choose from. The local store is very close, so you can buy what you need without going to other places. Vourvourou is a quiet place, perfect for a vacation - there are no noisy bars, it's quiet at night, so you can sleep well. If you prefer to visit a more urban place, Nikiti is located 15 minutes from Vourvourou, so it's easy to get there if you're motorized. We will remember this holiday in the best way and we will definitely come back here again.

We had a beautiful ground floor room with a spacious terrace. Fresh towels are provided on the loungers by the pool. The pool is clean and Very nice. The hotel Staff is really friendly. The breakfast was very good, the best was the lady who makes fresh omelettes or fried eggs. Nearby are restaurants and supermarket.

We spent a week in hotel Diaporos, no food just apartment. Ioannis an his famaly were very supportive and responsive on all our requirements. They guded us with hints to visit the best places and beaches in the area. The room was comfy and according to the description and our needs. It was every day cleand and maintained. The yard bar with the ping ping table, swings and draft beer was perfect for kids and us :) We also paid for a dinner at the hotel and it was very affordable and above all tasty and homemade. They also offered us complementary breakfast which was great. For sure we recommend hotel Diaporos and will come again when we visit Vourvorou area.

We felt like we'd made a rare discovery when we got to this place. The peace and quiet, the hospitality of our wonderful host, the white sand, the mirror-like sea, the orange trees, the home-made breakfast... everything was magnificent and filled our hearts with joy. Such a lovely place! It's worth mentioning we were here at the end of October and it's highly likely the summer months are more animated.

The location is perfect, the house and facilities were tasteful and modern. The personnel were kind and helpful. It is very family friendly. There is no sound annoyance around. Also, the facility has its own umbrellas and sunbeds right under a majestic pine tree. The cleaning was performed on a daily basis and the changing of towels was on demand. The kitchen is well equipped to cook on your own if you wish.

    Nice beaches nearby (we explore them by Paddle board but there are also 600 boats to rent for a day trip). The city beach is not blue water and seems more like a lake, but there are many other possibilities at the place.

    Vourvourou is maybe great for people who like calm places, around the nature, but there are no good beaches and not many places to visit / for dinner, beach bar/, there is also no walking area near the sea. Karidi beach is nice place but maybe to visit in May/June. It's also great for people who like boats.

    Vourvourou is very close to some lovely beaches like Karydi and Fava and you can also do a boat tour of the Diaporos island, which has many lovely spots. But Vourvourou's own beach was not appealing to me (very shallow, warm, and a bit murky in places), so you would need a car for the nice beaches.

    The village itself is nothing special.

    The village itself is nothing special. There is nowhere you can eat in the morning if you don't have breakfast in your hotel. A must do is a boat rental, as there are plenty of places and small beaches to go.

    The place is excellent for vacation - we reccommend cruises to Athos and Amliani island (from near port of Ormos Panagias), also boat trips, beaches like Lagonisi, Caridi, Livari and all rest in near surroundings!

    This is tiny place, not even a village.

    This is tiny place, not even a village. There is almost no place to walk. Beaches are not the greatest in the area. If you plan to rent a boat - there are lot of different options for this. Place is close to other nice beaches. We picked it because it was somehow in the middle of our favorite places in Chalkidiki.

    Magnificent location, right on the beach. A beautiful complex with enough parking spaces and very well-maintained green areas. The beach is wonderful and very suitable for children. The bungalows are spacious enough and air-conditioned. The kitchens are equipped with everything you need. You can have a very pleasant time there.
