The fabulous surrounding with the lovely village into the mountains, unbelievable. Both the staff and the hotel 5*. Don't forget to try the hotel restaurant, every food made from local products, in superb quality. We loved every moment in Milla Mountain, absolutely the best part of our trip in western Crete. Definitely we will come back for a longer stay.

Aside from the super friendly staff and heart warming breakfast, everything about the location is very well designed, a lot of attention went into the interior design and the materials used in the finishes. About the breakfast - it was a delight, rich and really tasty; we stayed three days and enjoyed a bit of variety every day. Also I really enjoyed the extra espresso included in the menu apart from the regular coffee. Definitely on our shortlist for a future travel in Crete and I wholeheartedly reccomend them! The proximity to Balos, Elafonosi and Falasarna beaches makes this boutique hotel a perfect choice rather than driving all the way from Chania.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff tried to help with everything. There was a kettle in the room, but coffee, cookies and fruit were available every morning. There were even various cosmetics for guests!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming small hotel right on the beach! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who made sure I had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location is truly unbeatable — waking up to the sound of the waves and having a stunning view of the sea from my room was a highlight of the trip. The food was another highlight; every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring or lounging on the beach. The cozy atmosphere of the hotel made me feel right at home, and I appreciated the personal touches that made my stay special. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the sea. I’m already looking forward to returning someday soon!

This is the second time in two months we have stayed at Casa D'Irene. The last time we only came for 1 night (there was no more availability) and this time we decided to pamper ourselves and stay 3 nights. To go out exploring the many famous beaches and stunning sites in the area and return back to this place was an absolute dream....to get up to a delicious, fresh breakfast with a huge assortment of options and be able to sit by the pool with an iced latte was incredible. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day and the staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. There is a decent sized supermarket about a 5 minute walk from the hotel with everything you could want as well as a great Taverna which we ate dinner at one night (which was delicious!). There are also other tavernas within a 10 minute walking distance. This is a fantastic establishment with excellent proximity to Falarsana, Elafonisi and Kedrodasos beaches. We will definitely be back!!! Oh and that infinity pool....!
