Loved this place. Great location close to heraklion but also rural. The old village style of the hotel felt authentic even though it's not, the outside restaurant seating area with views under the trees was stunning.Great food. Most of all I loved the fact that we were made to feel very welcome, Chris and Georges in the restaurant were particularly attentive, chatting to us and answering all our questions. Oh and not forgetting the cats, dog, goats and parrot.

estate kares is a great place if you really want to cut off from modern world and enjoy the life & relax. As a person who lives in a city center such places have a very special place in my heart. Beautiful views from the room & whole estate, cool swimming pool. There is everything what you need to have a great vacation. Amazing stars at night and view at the city. Everything!!!😍 To be honest places like this are over our budget,so we saved money for this trip for a while and was a bit concerned if we choose a good accomodation to put our trust in because we did not know the place. But booking this place was the best choice we could make! The hotel itself is really new,clear and elegant from the inside and outside as well. There are many pools so you do not feel the crowd (sometimes we were alone in a whole pool). The beach is literally just around the corner so we were able to spend our whole day there while our room was just few steps away from it. At the beach there were king size beds with baldachin and sunbeds too. There were a toilet and a beach bar nearby to fulfill all of yours needs! Our room was small but it was perfect for us (2 people) and it was well-equipped, we had everything we needed. There was fresh bottled water provided daily and the cleaning ladies did a perfect job! Despite the fact we brought lots of sands in they made our room perfectly clean every single day, huge thank you for them from here as well! Also the rest of the staff were extremly kind,helpful, cheerful and just made our days always :) Thank you as well, I hope my words get back to you,because you are doing an amazing job! We also tried massage here. The hotel provides you a 10 minute free massage and we also add some extra minutes. It was also amazing, we felt incredibly relaxed and calm after it. I definitely recommend you to try it once you are there. We also recieved one romantic dinner next to the beach in the hotel's fine dining restaurant from the hotel. It was an amazing night with a perfect view and incredible dishes! And in the end I would like to emphasize the amazing quality and quantity of food! Everything was freshly made, we had lots of choices and our favourites could be found every day but they also add new dishes to the breakfast and dinner too, so you just could not get bored of it!

I stayed with my wife and daughter for the first time in this place. The host is a wonderful person, communicative, attentive, responsive, he is interested in what we need every day. Impeccable cleanliness, towels changed daily, bedding also changed. Along with the welcome greeting from the host, I had a bottle of Greek wine in the room. There is also a fridge in the lobby with juices, champagne, beer and wine. Everything is superlative, quiet location, close to the beach, supermarket nearby, open daily. I will gladly return to this place. I warmly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing, carefree stay.

It was our first time in Crete, and in Greece too. It’s a beautifully designed building with really lovely rooms. You only need to walk a minute to reach the sandy beach, or a few minutes to find some incredible restaurants. The staff is helpful and really lovely, they are trying their best to fulfill a customer’s needs. We have had breakfast included with our booking, you can have that at their sister hotel which is like right at the beach, so just a minute of walking, and it is really worth it to book like this because their food is pretty good. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience, if we go back to Crete and Heraklion, we will definitely book at Nuovo, and we will recommend it to others if they need a hotel to stay. ☺️

A very comfortable and renovated hotel,everything was new, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, and they arranged gluten-free options for my friend (thank you! :). We really enjoyed our stay.

Nicest hospitality, family running business! Just in front of the gorgeous see, very clean, comfortable beds, very yummy greek food. Best location for peaceful relaxing holidays! Near to the Heraklion center- just half an hour by bus, 5 min walk to the bus station.
