The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the views were gorgeous. Well located right in the middle of town. Service was excellent and Anastasia was fantastic and such a help with everything. I would highly recommend! I have nothing but praise for the staff and the amenities.

We stayed for 1 week in On the Cliff hotel and we loved our stay. Simona on front desk was very kind and very helpful and lovely to deal with. The staff in the bar Dennis and Usman were absolutely lovely, so polite and nothing was too much trouble. We were leaving at 5am they offered to have someone come in to help with our bags which we refused and offered to have a breakfast prepared which again we refused but Usman stayed until after we returned from our night out and left us down a selection of fruit so we would have something to eat the next morning. Simona organised tours and transfers for us and anything we asked for was no problem. The staff made the holiday for us as they were so friendly and kind. The room was spotless and just like the photos. The breakfast was fantastic there was so much we never needed lunch. Fantastic location, fantastic staff stunning view.

The suite was exceptional and had the most stunning view of the sea. I looked forward to spending most of my evenings in the beautiful terrace after making a small meal for myself. The place was about a 10 minute walk from Fira center so everything was quite accessible. Anna and her husband also made sure that everything I needed was taken care of no matter the time of the day. I would gladly refer this place to each and every one of my friends and I myself would love to stay here when I do hopefully come back to visit Santorini again :)

Everything about our stay in the honeymoon suite was perfect! Thank you to Leyla, the concierge, for the best communication we have ever received from a hotel! Anything we needed she responded right away and helped us with from transportation to restaurant bookings etc. Also, a special thank you to the man who helped us with our bags and gave us an introduction to the island on the walk to the hotel!     Fira is a fun place to stay - it does get busy when the cruise ships are in, but not nearly as packed as Oia. It's still got great views and is photo worthy - although not quite as stunning as Oia. HOWEVER it's amazingly place for exploring the island - taxis are very expensive on Santorini, so being able to take the cheap and reliable busses from the main bus station in Fira to get to key places around the island was a really cost effective and efficient way to get around.

    Fira is awesome! I personally liked it better than Oia. Great shops, food, and things to do! Many lovelt restaurants are in walking distance, and this includes formal, sit-down places and also to-do, take away spots. It feels very safe! It is clean. Fun night life is you are looking for it but also easy to relax in your own place and not feel bothered by nightlife. Things to do include: Hiking to Oia (see note below), beaches (black sand is so cool!), horse riding on the beach, renting atv/scooter, shopping, cooking class, boat ride, Amoundi Bay & cliff jumping near Oia port (see note below). *Hiking to Oia: super cool!! Highlyt recommend if you liking hiking. Wear sneakers at a minimum (no sandals), terrain can be rocking at times, lots of dust, lots of ups and down hills. Go early in the day!! It gets hot fast and you feels it durig the walk. *Amoundi Bay & cliff jumping: you have to go down many steps to get to the port of Amnoubdi Bay...From the main area of Ammoudi Bay, continue walking past the seafood tavernas along a rocky dirt path. There is a gate up but people just walk around it. The beach is small and rocky. It gets busy quickly, Its easy to get into the water there however because it is quite shallow. The cliff jumping is fun! You have to swim out and climb up to get to the platform but easy enough for children to do! Favorite spots: coffe = coffee lab; quick food place = Yogi ; restaurant (greek food) = triana taverna

    We only stayed in Fira before Island hopping.

    We only stayed in Fira before Island hopping. However, it is a stunning place to visit as we have done so on many occasions. You need to be pretty mobile as it's steep in places with lots of steps! Prices vary at various bars and restaurants and you will pay top price to watch the sunset with a view to die for, but there are other lovely places more reasonably priced further down the town.

    Fira is a great place to stay in Santorini if you don’t have a car and it’s very central. From Fira you can get the local buses at a very cheap price to move around the Island and go to Oia and the beaches, it also has a cable car that you can go with it down to the old port of Fira. Fira has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and great views with beautiful sunset. Hotels are more affordable to get than Oia.

    The last time I was in Santorini was 20 years ago and the evolution it has seen left me speechless. Over run with tourists crammed into the souvenir shop filled streets. On my street alone there were 2 gaming lounges. Why do you need a gaming lounge on a Greek Island?? There is even a McDonalds. It's more LA than Greece

    Its a quaint and lovely place to visit and accommodates all holidays types when visiting Santorini. Be prepared to walk and climb when you visit as its very hilly and can be challenging in the summer sun. Nevertheless, its beautiful when wanting to relax and have a gorgeous view of the Caldera.

    The view is breathtaking, the hotel is unique, the room is perfect. Different breakfast every morning, homemade Greek food accompanied by fresh orange juice. The staff makes you feel welcome every moment. The location couldn't be better. Everything is new, elegant through typical Greek simplicity. The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't imagine a better location and environment in Santorini. Is quiet and private and in 1 min you are in the location where everything happens in Fira

    The hotel is situated so close to the square in Fira which makes it a great base for seeing the city. Upon arrival, the staff at reception (Cindy & Meggie) were so helpful giving us a lot of information of things to-do and always on hand to help organize taxis or give advice as required for places to eat, things to see! The hotel also features a pool which was great. The room itself was exactly as described and spacious. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Santorini
