We are just back from two days spent at the ON Residence in Thessaloniki and we have fallen in love. A veritable little gem, the hotel has rewritten history. It has taken the iconic Olympos Naoussa restaurant building and reinvented it, turning it into a superbly renovated, impressively stylish boutique hotel, which, while reviving the restaurant, added to it a beautiful set of rooms with a view of the harbor and the sea. Splurge on a sea-view room if you can – maybe even on one of their suites on the first two floors – and spend your days wondering whether you should leave the room at all or rather stay in to enjoy the awesome views of the harbor as the light changes over the course of the day. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful throughout. Thanks a lot for a great stay.

Took the executive suite, and had an amazing experience for very reasonable price- great room, fantastic location, staff is really helpful. Food was pretty and very tasty at the breakfast. The hotel is right next to the best restaurant/bar area in town, but still not noisy.

Very modern hotel. Cleaning was super. Very quiet room, although looking to the main street. The bed was very comfortable. Rich breakfast. We arrived at 10:30 in the morning. We checked into the rooms immediately. No waiting for regular check in time. It was a very nice surpise for us. Friendly staff. The hotel was above my expectation. Would definately stay again.

    I would recommend to visit the city only if you also go to the other places in Greece. The historical heritage here is not the most impressive, and the nearest beach is an hour away by public transport. But all in all the city is safe, perfect for walking and quite interesting!

    Lot's of places to see and things to do! It has something for everyone! Definitely recommend the museums, churches and the local delicacies, if you use the hop-on hop-off bus you can learn and see a lot of things.

    Not really a place to go again...greek people are a bit more...

    Not really a place to go again...greek people are a bit more rude, double face and nose up to handle with. the place is also a bit dirty, smelly and not well arranged for parking, living, walking, cycling and going around at all. Bad roads and drivers. the menu in the restaurants is poor and the shops do not offer too much variety of foods and drinks. There is a night life, but guess who is suffuring from it...anyway, it is what it is.

    Thessaloniki is a beautiful city, not particularly clean, but one that has a lot to see. The restaurants serve good food, and the people are extremely pleasant. I’ve been to Thessaloniki many times, and I’m already planning to come again in a few months. Even a long weekend in Thessaloniki is a great option.

    Need minimum 2 full days at Thessoloniki; there are walking tours to join. I did the St paul walking tour- it was meaningful for me as i am a Christian ; sort of a little pilgrimage. The history of Thessaloniki is rich The archealogical museum etc worth a visit too. we also did the Pozar spring water tour; v nice too

    I really enjoyed Thessaloniki — the food was incredible (from tavernas to bougatsa for breakfast), the lively waterfront and café culture gave the city such a vibrant feel, and the mix of history with the White Tower, Rotunda, and old churches made it unique. People were friendly and welcoming, and it felt authentic compared to more touristy places in Greece. On the other hand, traffic and parking were stressful, buses could be confusing and slow, and in summer the heat made walking around a challenge. Some parts of the city weren’t as clean or well-kept as I expected, and the noise in the center could get overwhelming. Overall, though, Thessaloniki left a strong impression — full of character, great food, and a lively atmosphere.

    We made the booking for the Blue Bottle but were upgraded to the Maroon Bottle Suites, which belongs to the same owner and it's very close to the BBBH. Beautiful boutique hotel, situated in a quiet area, yet very close to the city centre. Large and very clean rooms, convenient breakfast. The owners and the staff are very friendly and attentive to details. We will definitely come back here if we make our way again to Thessaloniki. Very good value for money. I strongly recommend this accommodation

    Perfect hotel for a city stay in the center of Thessaloniki. Very convenient underground paid parking nearby. Excellent location for a walk in the city center or for shopping. The area is quite noisy but the windows are good and isolate well. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Amazing staff.
