This was such a lovely place to stay. It is out of the busier, more touristy areas so was very peaceful and relaxing but is still close to everything you want to explore during the days. The facilities were great (especially the pool) and everything was always clean. Spyros and his family were so lovely and welcoming, always up for a chat and giving tips of great places too see and eat. As a solo traveller this is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

I love my stay at this hotel! Location just right next to the beautiful beach, especally enjoyed my morning coffee with the sea view! Breakfast was great, with many different options each day. Dinner was delicious, the best moussaka I've ever ate! Chocolate cake and orange cake with the ice cream...the best!😇 Our room was super clean with all amenities we needed. Towels were replaced every day. We had beautiful sea view from from our balcony. Even though the hotel is in a busy area, it never felt that way in the hotel, there was always a lot of space in the restaurant and free beds on the beach. The highlight of this hotel was the staff! They were all so helpful, kind and friendly, big thanks!💜

Location is really good with a water front, sandy beach and lots of beach chairs. Stuff is really, really friendly. In cases when weather is not helping, they have a spa with sauna and Jacuzzi that can be booked for free. Breakfast is amazing, well priced, highly recommended. They have an on site restaurant and bar, reasonable priced in case one might want to enjoy more time on the beach. Overall it was an outstanding experience for us.

    A small town, not aimed at the tourist market. Bakers, butchers, couple of small supermarkets and a couple of tavernas/cafes/take out places. Suggest taking local bus for a few euros along to next town - Kolymvari for better choice of restaurants.

    We used Tavronitis as a base.

    We used Tavronitis as a base. Before setting off on our daily adventures, we would have a lovely breakfast at the hotel. On returning early evening. We would walk down to the village for evening meal. There are 3 taverners within 20mins walk. Walking back to hotel 30mins as its a bit of a climb. Great beaches 10mins drive or Kissamos about 30mins drive. We liked going to the beach early, having lunch and then visit monastry,brewery, honey experiance or olive producers. All within 30mins. Would recommend the beaches with umbrellas and sun beds, buy a couple of drinks and they are free. We went in July so temp was mid thirties. Antilia apartments... super friendly, helpful. Will be going back

    It is fair to say that the north coast of the island will...

    It is fair to say that the north coast of the island will never match the immaculate beauty and authenticity of the south. If you are going to choose the north however, then Tavronitis is probably a better choice than many other towns and villages. It is quiet with a small centre that offers everything you need, and a long beautiful beach that you can enjoy when the sea is not rough. So, unless you prefer the madness of places like Platanias, Tavronitis is probably a good & safe choice for your family holiday.

    We felt very comfortable and cozy at the apartments. A big bonus is the fact it is not a big hotel but a set of several rooms with a kitchen (still a feeling of privacy) but you have there everything you need-pool, well equipped restaurant available all day, town nearby. Also the stuff makes everyone feel welcome. Food is tasty and portions massive;) Also I liked the fact a lot of locals are visiting the restaurant

    Such a beautiful, modern place that has everything you need. There were even some basic supplies for cooking and food in the fridge. Just a short drive from Chania, Tavronitis town also has everything you need, with delicious tavernas and a beach just walking distance away. We had to call the owner, as there was a sudden power outage and she was nice and helpful.
