Such a lovely stay, close to centre, very clean and cute. Unique vibe that I have never seen elsewhere. The owner really helped us with tips for food and beaches nearby, which was beautiful and always good. Thank you so much and hopefully see you again sometime.

Amazing! Took our breath away when we arrived. A beautiful traditional town house, expertly renovated with all mod-cons. Very friendly, helpful host, short walk to a fabulous main square. Pyrgi is one of the most amazing villages we’ve ever seen and it was so good to be right in the centre of it.

Someone had clearly put a lot of thought into the details of my studio. The shower was amazing because it was big enough and closed in, so water didn't spray everywhere - those who have travelled in Greece will know that this is often an issue. The owner was discrete, but incredibly helpful; for example, when I noticed there wasn't a small bowl for me to put yoghurt for my breakfast, she brought me one right away. Even on the day I left, she spotted me in the street waiting for the bus several hours after I'd checked out and helped organise a taxi to my next location. But the biggest thing was getting the wifi fixed. When I mentioned that it wasn't really working (the walls to the village houses are incredibly thick, so no surprises there) she moved heaven and earth to get engineers out on a Sunday to re-wire everything and fix it. It is now working PERFECTLY! Such incredible hospitality!!!!

Everything! So unique stylish apartment! Very close to the main square with few restaurants. Quiet during night, only after 6-7am local traffic starts.

Vessa is a quieter, secondary destination in Chios. Petrino is one of the best options in the village. We liked the shared terrace we utilized with parents staying in the adjacent room. Breakfast was amazing with homemade jams, pastries and eggs. Owner lady was very positive over the phone and Spiros was super supportive on property.

Pretty much everything! We had read earlier reviews which criticised the breakfast, the shower, the water etc but were not put off. This is a small Greek hotel, family run, with very large rooms/suites. We had a suite at the front with a large living room, large bedroom, shower/wc, and a good sized balcony. And a great view out to sea. We both showered each day / 8 showers - absolutely no water spilled. People should spend a little time arranging the curtain rather than rushing to complain. And we simply don’t recognise the complaints about the breakfasts - good quality, plenty to choose from, and plenty of everything. The owners were lovely- friendly, chatty, helpful - including contacting the car hire firm for us when our car had a flat battery. And helped us carry our luggage upstairs to the top floor. And allowing us to stay several hours after the official leaving time as we had a late ferry. What’s not to like - Chios Hotel will be our hotel of choice if we are ever back on the island.

    If you like winding streets and unique towns, and old stone towns, Pyrgi is for you!!! I have been to many villages but Pyrgi will always stand out, I highly recommend!!!!! I loved it, I tried to walk every little street! The archways between houses are fascinating!

    Pirgi wasn’t particularly impressive for us, but it’s still worth a visit. With its unique architecture and narrow streets, it offers a different kind of charm. And since you’ll already be in the area, I highly recommend stopping by the nearby village of Mesta as well. We personally found Mesta much more enjoyable and definitely worth seeing.

    Beautiful place, really convenient for exploring the amazing beaches nearby and the stunning mastic villages. Somewhat not set up for tourism despite being such an amazing place. Very few options for eating out (basically only grills and pizza)
