A super unique place across Greece, combining high altitude vegetation with long pebble beaches overlooking the Aegean Sea. Under the feet of Olympus & super close to the Heritage Village of Palaios Panteleimon. Platamonas is a great place to combine relaxing beach holidays coupled with sight seeing exploration and mountain strolls under Olympus mountain. I would definitely recommend Platamonas.
I would definitely recommend Platamonas. Not for the beach though. We were with young kids, so we chose to drive for a couple of minutes to Nei Pori to go to the beach, and came back to Platamonas for lunch and dinner. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk distance from the beach and close to local restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable.
