It's our honeymoon, but we didn’t notice the resort in advance: our room had been upgraded free to a rooftop room with jacuzzi, and they also gifted us a bottle of pink for our honeymoon, what a sweet surprise! Every one is very kind and caring. The location is far from downtown of Rethymno, but the resort has its own beach, which is very calm and keep from crowds. Hope we have chance to be here again in the future!

The Guy during check-in was very talkative but in good meaning and also helpful. Hotel has a pool. Rooms are spacious and if you are located on higher floors you will have nice view over the city. Breakfast is very tasty and has variety of choice. They also serve home made cake and pies (salty and sweet). Old town is just 10-15 min walking from/to hotel.

Very nice place in the heart of Rethymno :-) clean and beautiful, recently opened with lots of style. We were on Crete for the 5th time but stayed in Rethymno first time over night - we really like this city and it's vibe, and Cortiletto fits in perfectly. Thank you!

We visited Crete as a couple for the first time during the off-season around January. We were so glad we booked this place for an exquisite stay, located in the middle of the old town; it was worth the money! The amazing pool view, 2-storey room, and aromatic fragrance were all to be experienced with a touch of mid-century style. The breakfast was out of this world, tasty, and sufficient for a couple. The staff's hospitality from when we arrived until we left was amazing. We had never experienced such an extraordinary as well as humble service, and all our needs were taken care of with ease. Splendid service from Jacob and his staff; we wish we could have stayed longer. We want to return for a longer stay to enjoy a chill vacation.

The hotel is an absolute charm. Staff is friendly and helpful, checkin was the nicest I ever encountered. The rooms are built around the guest's needs and conveniency. Light, AC, fan controls where you need them, automatic lights in the wardrobe shelves, HDMI cable connector next to the bed (wow). View is terrific. Beach is sandy and very well maintained. Breakfast and dinner: great selection, plenty to choose from, good quality. My stay in this hotel alone was great, but it's best for couples. It's adults only, but not "senior", age group is well mixed. When there is an event or party on the premises, it's audible in the room (until midnight), but I didn't mind, it's summer and vacation. Enjoy it!

    Absolutely loved our family stay at Villa Orsalia!

    Absolutely loved our family stay at Villa Orsalia! The villa was immaculate, and the private pool and facilities were exceptional – truly family-friendly. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Its ideal location made exploring Heraklion's sites and nearby clean beaches effortless. Couldn't recommend more highly! Just a note for future guests, particularly if visiting outside peak summer: the lovely pool isn't heated, so it can be quite brisk.
