Nea Karvali does not feel like a holiday location - there is no walk alley along the sea, peppered with cafes / restaurants, there are very limited shopping options, the food stores are rather outdated, so we were going often to Kavala for quality food & veggies/fruits, coffee & eating out. We stayed close to the kids playground near the sea, and this in the evening was turning into gathering spot for the local teens - playing sport or driving motorbikes or simply talking loudly. Unfortunately, this was right opposite our apartment, so we could not fall asleep till after midnight - rather unpleasant for such a quiet location.Guest review byDessislavaBulgaria
