Excellent stuff. The facilities are a bit old but this is actually a good thing. The place had an aura of my childhood family holidays in Argolida and we were extremely happy to have our son share a similar experience. There is a lot of love and personal time invested in this place, a family business for generations and we really loved to be part of it.

we are too old friends traveling increase for a month. This was our first night stay in the Peloponnese. exactly what we needed to rest and begin this part of our journey. Located within walking distance of the ruins at Mycenae, our lodging in the small village was quiet and had so many sweet touches like basket of fresh oranges from Sophia's trees, and honey from her bees. Delicious! we had a chance to visit with people in the neighborhood, I could practice speaking Greek, and as everywhere we have been people are so kind and generous. We are only sorry we could only stay one night. You might need a certain level of fitness to carry your suitcase up the spiral stairs . we loved the seating areas outdoors and indoors .

We needed a place to stay for one night. The room was comfortable, clean and at a very reasonable price. Although the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, the coffee and cake in the morning was a pleasant surprise!

When I arrived was greater pleasantly and prior to arrival was contacted about arrival time and any special requests. I am in the facility management industry and was pleasantly surprised of quality and value for money. Open 24 hours is rare, great job.

Great room. Excellent view of the city center. The staff guy was really helpful and ready to answer questions. My previous location wasn't that great so we were feeling this was much better in any way.

    The Archaeological site of Mycenae was on our "bucket list".

    The Archaeological site of Mycenae was on our "bucket list". Impressive site in a stunning hilly backdrop. Easy parking. Stones are slippery so wear correct footwear. Not for very elderly or disabled people as the site is on a hill. Best place to eat is La Petite Planete just up the road from the site.

    Very handy for Mycenae acropolis plus within easy reach of...

    Very handy for Mycenae acropolis plus within easy reach of many other ancient sites - Nemea, the Argive Heraion, Dendra cemetery, Tiryns, Argos town, Midea, etc. Lots of advice on ancient sites and opening times. We also got specialist advice on walks from the hotel to outstanding rock-cut and Tholos tombs nearby that the package crowd don't see. Dinner at the hotel (not Sunday), plus there are 4 or 5 tavernas in the village (which is quiet after the coaches leave for the day).
