We stayed here one night. We only used it to drop the baggage and to sleap at night, so it is totally satisfied with our expectations. Also, the view from the balcony was very nice. We came early (with the first ferry), but got our room without any question. It is not a luxury hotel, the room is simple, but was exactly what we looked for. Loutro is a great place.

Lovely to find a small but modern hotel where the staff are really friendly and do care about you. We had a nice big room on 2nd floor, terrace and pool / harbour view. Very comfy beds and modern bathroom. Especially thank you to Chrissa and Dora on the reception, and to Eva for a fantastic breakfast with so many homemade items. The pictures on the website a true reflection of what you get. Spotlessly clean. Great base for exploring local walks and boat trips.

Our room was very clean, comfortable, renovated, with big bathroom (I like glass wall in shower, that's very rare in Greece). Rooms are above the Taverna, which is located in center square of small traditional greek village Anopoli. Village has also very nice vibe. Staff is very nice. There is no breakfast included but you can eat food from menu in taverna. Its a very good value for the price.

    We loved swimming/ snorkelling off the rocks to the right of Loutro (facing out to the bay) and probably spent more time in the sea than on land! It's such a lovely place, possibly a bit too busy for my liking (compared to when I was last there 30 years ago!) but I still loved it. We liked eating at Stratis taverna, set back from the main sea front. The chicken souvaki there was so so good!

    We were there for 5 days and really enjoyed our time hiking, swimming and just chilling out. It is a very small place so if you are someone who likes lots of shops and people it might not be the place for you or maybe for just the day.

    Liked the colour of the town. Liked all the boats. Liked it could only be accessed by water. Every body seemed to be tourists. Wondered how the few kids around got to school. Food in general didn’t have a great taste. Wine and beer good. Prices higher than Chania

    Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days...

    Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days except if one wants to simply relax on the beach. Hikes to Fiona’s and Glyka nera are easily accessible. Good restaurants with local delicacies. Ate at Stratis and Ilios both reasonably priced

    The relaxed athomsphere and the silence in Loutro after the day tourist have gone are so great. If you go to Loutro DO NOT forget to bring snorkeling equipment, the crystal clear water and living creatures are so nice. I had a walk/hike up to the ruins of the fortress above Loutro and that was a very interesting place to visit. PS. Please do not carve your name on the walls of the ruin, sadly so many tourist lack respect for historical heritage.

    It’s a pretty and lively place, only accessible by boat. The town is a nice place to enjoy food and drink. We found Ilios to be the best restaurant and the bar on the far right (looking from the sea) to be an enjoyable place for a drink or two. The best things about the place, for us, were the immediate access to the E4 hiking route and the multiple boat trips to nearby beaches Glika Nera and Marmara. Glika Nera is fabulous if not too crowded. Try the home made Kolokithokeftedes (courgette balls) with a little Tzatziki at the taverna on the jetty. Yum!

    We loved our stay at Molos. Such a beautiful hotel, right in the middle of the bay in Loutro. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. We loved our balcony and view! Would highly recommend! Important to note that Loutro is only accessible by boat, we didn't realize this until the day of our arrival... oops! Very quick ferry from Sfakia though.

    Maria is an amazing host and her rooms are lovely, with an incredible view over Loutro bay. Maria accommodated any of our requests, and we had a perfect stay in Loutro. Maria also made us the best breakfast ever! Sfakian pie and omelette, bread and coffee, everything was superb. I recommend Scirocco Rooms for a great stay in Loutro.

    We had a great stay at the Daskalogiannis hotel in Loutro! The traditional rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, and the balcony makes the room with perfect views over Loutro village. The breakfast was particualrly great with lots of choice and many options!

    Perfect stay with amazing views, excellent food and the kindest staff. Just 10 min taxi boat ride or 35 min easy walk (with scenic views) to Loutro! Definitely recommend if you want a peaceful vacation.
