This is a fantastic villa, with sweeping views of the sea and Ithaca. It is stylish, spacious and spotlessly clean. Large sliding windows provide fantastic light and views throughout the villa. Modern heating/cooling units mean that the villa is suitable year round. The location, 10 minutes’ drive from Sami, could not be better for exploring the island. Communications with Elena before and during our stay were timely and helpful.

Very nice place. Staff of the hotel very nice & kind. Facilities were great. Being other side of island Sami to us felt like central to go here and there even.if was 54mins-1 hour drive . We were close around corner from Drosgayo caves & Melisani caves . Greek breakfast was good parking on property great. The beach bar opened till midnight to have drinks

The house is amazing. The owner is really nice and helpful, she was so kind. House is really close to the Sami center. I took a taxi from Sami to Antisamos beach. Really nice place. The house is big, with kitchen and a garden with beautiful cats. I enjoyed my stay here.

Everything. This place is a gem. The room was quite big, full of everything that you could possibly need, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was spacious. The parking space is comfortable and always protected by the trees, preventing your car from becoming a furnace. Position-wise, if you have a car it's excellent for it's literally a 2 minutes drive to Sami. If you wanna walk to the town it's not the most ideal scenario ever (12 mins on average), but it's still perfectly doable especially during the daytime. You may find quite a lot of people still walk that road even at night, but personally I wouldn't do it (simply because there's no sidewalk, and the illumination isn't the best). You've got two decent supermarkets in the immediate surroundings, and the room has got a fully working kitchen that allows you to properly fix your meals in case you don't want to go to the restaurant every single day. If you are a remote worker: the wi-fi was around 15mbps (download) on average depending on the position, it was overall quite stable. The 4G was around 30mbps, which is absolutely great considering the standards of the island. So if you have to work with bigger files you're gonna use the hotspot anyway, if you just need check your email and deal with smaller files the wifi is good enough. The hosts are great, absolutely fantastic. As far as we're concerned, best hosts on the planet!

Akis (the host) is very friendly and has great tips on how to explore kefalonia. The location is ideal for exploring Agia Efimia, Myrtos and other nice places. Very close to all you need (like good restaurants, supermarket, etc.). Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for free at the property which is very handy when going to beaches without infrastructure. The room was good and clean. Good parking area next to the property. The highlight of this property was definitively Akis’ hospitality. I would stay there again when returning to Kefalonia.

    Villa Templin is a beautiful villa in the hills of Chaliotata. There is nothing in the area itself but Sami, a beautiful fishing village, 10 mins drive by car has 2 good supermarkets, butchers/fishmonger, car hire and many Greek/Mediterranean restaurants on the edge of the harbour.
