Ari the agreeable on-site manager set out coffee, milk, butter, honey and fresh bread from nearby Stella's bakery every morning on the big table and invariably stayed to chat away in English. In fact it was Ari's hospitality, friendship and willingness to provide any small extras a guest might wish for that made our stay at Kalypso Studios much more than we expected.

We had an incredibly comfortable stay in Gavdos, made even better by the warm and friendly owners. Our visit was brief, just two nights with our young children (both under 5), but it left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, one of our daughters fell ill on the second night, which meant we couldn't fully enjoy everything the property had to offer. However, the owners were exceptionally helpful and supportive during this time, which made all the difference. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing and welcoming experience.

This was a perfect stay in every aspect. George's attention to detail, comfort, help, food, dring and information knows no limit. Great location!! Literally a few steps from our doorstep to the sea! A tavern with deliciously prepared fresh fish and veggies from a garden in front of our room!! Great fava and vlita, fried squid, all cooked near perfection. Not for the fancy gourmet lovers, perfect for those that know the true taste of traditional food. Gavdos and Akrogiali definitely surpassed our expectations!
