An Unforgettable Stay at Villa Aurora – A Hidden Gem in Grizata, Kefalonia We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Villa Aurora in Grizata, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. This spacious, beautifully furnished family home is not only well-equipped, but also filled with warmth, care, and charm—thanks to the wonderful family who owns and manages it. The villa is perfect for larger groups or two families of four, offering more than enough space and comfort. Every room is thoughtfully arranged and fully equipped with everything you might need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor space is simply magical. The lush garden is lovingly maintained and features a stone BBQ area and a relaxing chill-out zone—ideal for lazy afternoons and evening gatherings under the stars. The entire atmosphere invites you to slow down, relax, and fully enjoy the beauty of Kefalonia. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more memorable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with authentic Greek charm, modern comforts, and the warmth of a family-run home, Villa Aurora is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful house in the middle of a lovely village, just minutes from Sami and Antisamos beach. Perfect location and great pool. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made the stay even better. Really beautiful couple who helped us with all our needs, including taxi connections in the area.

We had a studio and made breakfast ourselves, the small kitchenette had everything we needed, coffee machine, water boiler, cooking facilities, fridge, small freezer. A wonderful patio garden with table and four chairs where we had breakfast and also dried our swimming clothes and towels. Green and lots of flowers and beautiful ornaments. Air condition worked perfect. Very clean and tidy everywhere. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop terrace with great views over the bay, where we spent some time in the evenings, well furnished and beautiful nice and clean. It would have been lovely though if the hotel could serve breakfast and drinks on the terrace... The landlady and landlord where so nice and friendly and did everything they could to make our stay great. The hotel is ideally located near city center, the promenade and nice restaurants but still very quiet! 5 minutes walk to a small pebbled beach, beautiful water and not crowded at all (middle of August).

Perfect location with restaurants, shops and ferries just outside the door. In walking distance to the beautiful Melissani cave. We went for a one day trip to Ithaca and the ferries are leaving just from the other side of the road.

The house is perfect, surrounded by nature, with a swimming pool, and the kindest owners ! The owners helped us with recommendations and always asked us if we needed anything. Nice bedrooms full equipped and comfy. Well located in Sami village, perfect area to stay and go visit around the island.
