Wonderful beach at Gouves Bay just within 10 minutes. This was a perfect vacation all in all for our family with all inclusive for a good price. Their food so ok. Staff great... Drinks the whole day included in the all inclusive. As much as you like. Great deal. So you really get worth value high by this hotel and with their all inclusive. We booked by booking 5 persons for the amount of 17130 ddk. It was worty of every penny. From the first to the last day. The wifi great also...

Great value for money, room was cleaned perfectly every morning, staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect hotel for a couple chill vacation. Very cosy place with authentic greek vibe. Beautiful gardens with a lot of flowers. As for food, the cuisine is actually various and every day you can choose different dishes, the restaurant staff also were really nice and helpful. 5 mins on foot to the closest beach (great for snoorkeling by the way), ~7 mins to a beach with sand. It is also worth mentioning the pool and the bar by the pool — the drinks were nice and the atmosphere was honestly great. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay at Hara Ilios Village. We are hoping to come back some day.

Beautiful hotel overall! Lovely spacious rooms. Even though it’s a large hotel it’s always clean! The food was incredible, so many choices for all tastes, beautiful main restaurant so much light and decor! Kathrine in the reception was especially friendly and always went out of her way to help us! Loved the little Chapel that was always open to visit and very serene. The pools were beautiful and so many, the spa was amazing, loved the hammam! The hotel was 1 min away from the sea and there’s many nice bars and restaurants in the area. Great experience very happy!

    Our apartment was in Kato Gouves which had several supermarkets and clothes and souvenir shops. There were numerous bars and restaurants too. Our apartment at Fotis Studio Apartments was well located to nearby bus stops that took us into Iraklio and the airport, as well as to other lovely locations.

    Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind.

    Gouves is a place to go if you want to completely unwind. I'd say it's more appealing for couples rather than young families, but that said, there are some things to keep the kids happy. Beaches are sandy with watersports and there is a waterpark, aquarium and Dinosaur park close by. If you want hussle and bustle, Gouves is not the place for you, it's a laid back resort with most places closing by 1am but a few remain open a bit later. The local people are very friendly and treat you as one of their own.

    The Sirroco beach was amazing, Andreas our guy was one of the most amazing guys I ever meet. Also the Island restaurant is great, all the food is amazing. Ask about Irina when you go there, is a great waiter!

    Location of the appartement is excellent, it’s quiet, secure and you have a beach view and a lot of nearby restaurants. The appartement is really clean, it’s also well equipped (stove, pans, forks, iron for clothes, parasol…) and we found food and beverages the first day in the refrigerator. The owners are really kind and nice. They gave us some tips on the best restaurants in Gouves and Iraklio. We had good times in this appartement and especially with the family owners.

    Everything was excellent, thank you to all the hotel staff who did everything to make our stay pleasant, to all the people in the reception office, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the employees of the wonderful dining room, to all the people in the excellent kitchen, thank you very much. the water park, the pools for children and adults were a real attraction, and to all the service providers in the hotel.

    Our stay at the Maya Beach Hotel was simply perfect! The breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel made us feel right at home. A special thanks to the entire team – by far the best and most welcoming staff we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Everyone was incredibly friendly, supportive, and made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
