Absolutely amazing stay – highly recommend! Our stay at Amalia’s place was truly exceptional. From the very first moment, she made us feel incredibly welcome. Right after we checked in, she surprised us with a delicious homemade Greek lunch – it was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect – just a short walk to beautiful Glyfada beach. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and very homey. Amalia provides everything you might need for a beach day – towels, umbrellas, and more. There are even board games available for a relaxing evening. We also loved the little details: coffee, tea, cookies, croissants, air conditioning – all included, and at a price twice as affordable compared to other nearby places. Amalia gave us great tips on where to go, what to see, and how to make the most of our time on Corfu. She’s a wonderful person with a big heart. My girlfriend and I were absolutely delighted with our stay, and if we come back to Corfu – we will definitely stay with Amalia again!

Peaceful and lovely place with a view. Clean and convenient spot with a great balcony. If you arrive off-season (which I did) there are no restaurants, cafes within short walks so do rent a car or enjoy a nice 1 hour or so scenic walk to nearby areas with food and cafes to enjoy a Freddo. The host was fantastic ensuring a comfortable stay and arranging airport transfers which included an opportunity to grocery shop enroute to the apartment. Very much recommended

Nice welcome by our host right at our apartment, rooms were lovely: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 double sofa bed in living area. Great kitchen, cooker, fridge, kettle and microwave...all the things you need when doing self-catering. Good AC and fabulous location and view of the beach...which is like a seawater swimming pool...gentle and clear.

    Glyfada is a beautiful, sandy beach.

    Glyfada is a beautiful, sandy beach. The sea is shallow so it is very suitable for children. In May, when we went, Glyfada was very quiet but all the facilites were open. There are two restaurants with lovely food and a shop where you can buy essentials. Glyfada is very close to Vatos, Pelekas and other great locations. We loved Linda's cafe in Vatos and Pavlos' great bakery - you really have to taste his cookies! In May, the numerous foot paths were full of wild flowers. The bird song was magnificent.

    Nice beach. Great accommodation. Limited to one small shop (mainly drinks and snacks) and one restaurant in October. But that meant it was nice and quiet. Good hiking and walking options. About 1 hour walk to Pelekas (more restaurants) or 1 hour walk to Mirtiotisa beach (lovely little clothing-optional beach).

    Glyfada beach is especially interesting for children and teenagers. It's always fun with non-stop music. In the background is the town of Pelekas with wonderful pubs with local drinks and restaurants with local specialties and seafood.

    Beach is beautiful. Very unspoilt , not too built up. This hotel has a beautiful view of the sea from the breakfast tables. Breakfast is great and very varied. Owners very welcoming. Rooms spacious and comfortable. All in all an excellent 3 star hotel. A bit isolated without a car (walking up that hill to get the bus is difficult in hot weather, however the bus service is good). Authorities could do a little better with rubbish in the area.

    All of the staff are super-friendly, professional and accommodating. This made our trip an amazing experience. The hotel itself is extensive and has a lot of facilities and amenities and if we didn't venture outside of the hotel complex (which we did), it would not have been a negative, as the hotel provides everything you could need for a relaxing holiday by the beach/pool. We stayed on a half-board basis and this was a great experience, as the variety of food (every day) was amazing. There was not a single day during our 7 day stay where we felt that the food variety was insufficient or repetitive. And the quality of the food was also amazing. For our stay, we were provided with a voucher for a 3-course meal at one of the a-la-carte restaurants on the premises (the Asian one) and apart from a bottle of wine, which we had to pay for, the voucher covered a very substantial meal for the family - and the quality is of Michelin star quality in my opinion. The pools are big and there is a smaller pool for adults only as the resort does attract a lot of guests with young children. So that option was good to have. The beach if literally 1 minute's walk from the hotel and is a lovely beach with plenty of loungers to choose from. One of the best holidays in our experience and we will definitely be going back there again. It was my wife's birthday while we were there and the hotel sent a lovely chocolate mousse cake and prosecco for us celebrate it with a lovely congratulations card (and didn't charge for it either).

    Glyfada consists of the lovely sandy beach, the Menigos apartments with associated mini market and restaurant with pool, a Domes hotel and 3 or 4 beach bars. There’s a small surf shack offering board rental at one end of the beach, with calmer waters at the other end for little ones. The beach bars close early evening which makes for a quiet Glyfada, but that meant we had a very limited choice of just 2 places to eat. The Gorgona had a good and varied menu, but the Akti Glifada served the best super fresh fish and salads. If you have a car, then we’d recommend visiting closeby Pelekas village which has many restaurants with views down to the sea, and also take an adventurous drive down to Pelekas beach where the waters are much calmer and there were several beach bars doing great trade, but be prepared to hire a sunbed as shade is limited.

    Breakfast was varied and the food was of good quality. The hotel was in a very quiet spot and very near a beautiful beach.The views from the “sea view” rooms were wonderful. We had a small problem with the plumbingwhich was reported to reception and was dealt with immediately. The air conditioning unit was the best I have ever come across and was so efficient that it only needed to be turned on for a very short time to cool the whole room in the very hot weather,

    A very good place, just next to the very beautiful Glyfada beach :) spacious room with the basic equipment needed. there is a supermarket and tavern at the place, good bus connection to Corfu town. the cleaning lady was very kind and supportive. we enjoyed our stay in Glyfada Gorgona Apartments :)
