A beautiful picturesque village.
A beautiful picturesque village. It is amphitheatrical with houses on the hills surrounding the port and the beach. It has a variety of restaurants along the port and beach with reasonable prices. Everything is within walking distance and most of the houses and villas are linked to the port with many steps. Andros is a nice friendly Island in general, and the fact that it doesn't have an airport makes it a nice family friendly destination. Batsi on the other hand is a nice contained beach town with a clean sandy beach that is ideal for families with kids and adults alike. It is very safe and Ideal for self entertainment. Came to Villa Arni with 3 other friends and it was perfect, only a 3 minute walk down to the beach and 5 minutes to the town. Yiannis was the sweetest, kindest and most hospitable host and made sure every moment of our stay was amazing, shout out to Yiannis! The staff were really helpful particularly Maria who organised a car hire for us and gave us recommendations for places to visit.
