We stayed 3 nights at Kallistefan and we got very satisfied of the hotel and the service. The hotel is totally new, clean rooms, with quality equipments, a beautiful terrace with a swimming pool and some deckchairs. The breakfast is good and complete with a variety of products. A special thanks to Sofia who has been so kind during our entire stay. On our arrival, we explained that we were going to miss the breakfast the day after as we had to leave very early for Samaria hiking, and Sofia directly proposed us to prepare a box with bread, ham, cheese, cake... Even if we informed her last minute, she took time to prepare everything with care, what we appreciated a lot. We recommand this hotel if you plan to stay in Kissamos (especially if you want to visit Elafonissi, Falassarna or Balos beaches) Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were made very welcome by Irene, the hotelier. Large, well- lit room, with balcony; good and very clean facilities, including for cooking. Easy shaded parking. 10 minute drive to Falasarna Beach; supermarket and good restaurant within walking distance.

This is the second time in two months we have stayed at Casa D'Irene. The last time we only came for 1 night (there was no more availability) and this time we decided to pamper ourselves and stay 3 nights. To go out exploring the many famous beaches and stunning sites in the area and return back to this place was an absolute dream....to get up to a delicious, fresh breakfast with a huge assortment of options and be able to sit by the pool with an iced latte was incredible. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day and the staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. There is a decent sized supermarket about a 5 minute walk from the hotel with everything you could want as well as a great Taverna which we ate dinner at one night (which was delicious!). There are also other tavernas within a 10 minute walking distance. This is a fantastic establishment with excellent proximity to Falarsana, Elafonisi and Kedrodasos beaches. We will definitely be back!!! Oh and that infinity pool....!

    Be aware that this is a tiny village in the mountains. A couple of houses. There are no shops, restaurants or other amenities there. But it is climatic, quiet. You must have a car. Easy access to beaches, restaurants and shops in other villages within 2-8 km. A good starting point for hiking and car trips to explore Crete.
