Beautiful town with really nice shops and great range of restaurants (excellent food). Very clean, great value and the people are very polite and friendly. There are buses to nearby resorts like Lassi which has two amazing beaches - our favourite was Platis Gialos. Easy to drive if you hire a car or good bus service and tour options as well. If you like to do more than just go to the beach then Argostoli is a great option as it has a relaxed holiday feel but more options at night than smaller resorts. Also just under 15 minutes to the airport. It was the easiest check in for the return journey and good facilities for a small airport.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Super room on 3rd floor with balcony overlooking the bay. Easy parking in front of the apartment. Breakfast was off site at a sister complex some 8 minutes walk but was worth the walk. A super feast with 3 items off the menu. The greek yogurt with walnuts and thyme honey is fantastic and became a staple for the rest of our 2 weeks in Kefalonia. Shops and dining are all within easy walking from the apartment. Excellent fish only restaurant down by the walkway over the bay called Aristofanis. They gave us a lot of tips about what to do, where to go, what to visit on the island. We even found a box of fantastic sweets in the fridge together with a bottle of wine of Kefalonia! The position of the apartment is very good, in a walking distance from 2-3 supermarkets, a bakey, pharmacy, and the beautiful seaside of Argostoli. Apartment is well equipped, with everything you need in the kitchen, including coffees and tea, clean and comfortable bedrooms, and high speed internet. The view from the property over Argostoli is amazing. There’s a reserved parking spot also in the yard and we were able to explore entire island from Dilinata, which is such a nice village. Pakos was so friendly and he reacted very fast to our any questions!
